TR Hacks - Run TR with out the damn launcher : FPS / MMORPG / RTS Discussion

Not a big deal, but if you don't want to go through NCSoft launcher (and a second little stub process too) to load up and run taking resources up in the background, just edit the "Tabula Rasa" short cut and add ' /NoPatch' to the end.

Example, after editing the shortcut it should look something like this:
"C:\Program Files\Tabula Rasa\tabula_rasa.exe" /NoPatch

After that TR should load right up directly. "No patch" probably means no patch will take place, so if a patch comes out you will probably have to go through the launcher first to do the patching..

Can members say yay or nay to this being moved to a confirmed section.

My default path was a bit different though:
"C:\Program Files\NCSoft\Tabula Rasa\tabula_rasa.exe" /NoPatch

you can also go to the NcLauncher and turn on the option to close launcher when game is launched. if you want to have it check for patches prior to launch, instead of going thru the launch only to find out you cant connect because they patched it.
