Alright I guess I will. Arrgh this sux. I can press F2 in the beginning but theres nothing about system restore.

it might have been f7 im not sure. its one of the f keys but as i said its prob something for the system because its a factory comp

All right well I'm probably going to end up reformatting cuz I just found my windows xp disk. Too bad I'm going to lose all my music....

pfff you can always download music... ok dont screw up while reimaging computer. first time i did it. I reformated my safe mode tooo lol

This should be good though cuz it'll get rid of all the programs I don't use. But I don't know how to format when I can't boot up. Arrgh

tell your bios to see what drives have something. generally its that the hdd is first. change the first bootup item to your cd drive then restart your computer with your windows disk in the drive. it will detect your cd and proceed with loading up windows that way. after that just follow the instructions on the screen. if it wont detect the cd with your cd drive as the first startup item then sadly your going to have to get a new HDD

Aggh no! Lol, crap. Well my friend says he can wipe it anyways.... but I dunno if he really knows how. I'm thinking about calling Geeks on Patrol. lol sounds sorda expensive though.

HECK YES! I got my computer to work! THANK YOU LILFISHER!!! haha I got it to detect the cd. tyvm!!!! but ive still got the virus "Rundll" and AOL safety and security didnt seem to detect it. grar
