Keeping it simple, just like me.

Well had a screw up with Image dumpk, so thought id organise it a little better while I was there, at the same time i adjusted these to better adhere to the contest rules.

Keep looking, as they continue on to the second page.

Plain text, with clear background.
(!empty($user->lang['IMAGE'])) ? $user->lang['IMAGE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'IMAGE')))

Black Background
(!empty($user->lang['IMAGE'])) ? $user->lang['IMAGE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'IMAGE')))

White background
(!empty($user->lang['IMAGE'])) ? $user->lang['IMAGE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'IMAGE')))

Anyone know why I only see the red x where the pics are supposed to be? I see they are png files. Do I need to do something special for my browser to read them?

Could be your browser. You can always right-click and save-as then open them in an image viewer or editor.

The idea I left it without too much artwork, is so it could be applied over backgrounds and heading artwork.

As a quick example for WoW

Star Wars Galaxies clear

Vader looks good in black.

We could keep going with this all day. Being all text it can be placed over any background and any colour. We can shrink, enlarge or add to it without an issue.

Compact Clear background

Compact Black background

Strange, I can see them fine today. Very nice work, Anach.

P.S. Used to use FF until IE7 came out. IE is much faster than FF now (for me).

yes IE7 is much faster but i cant install it on this comp. so many errors and i dont wanna reformat ><

nah that one sucks, the top one is really hot man, best ive seen so far. yours and the other guys but his icon style doesnt really fit the site. love the different fonts

Ok, well after reading the contest rules, it sounded like they wanted more of a logo than just text. So I made a few alterations.

Shiny Sphere clear background
(!empty($user->lang['IMAGE'])) ? $user->lang['IMAGE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'IMAGE')))

Sphere and black background with less text.
(!empty($user->lang['IMAGE'])) ? $user->lang['IMAGE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'IMAGE')))

And finally the Star Wars Galaxies Section example.
