its actually not very hard, just be really active in multiple sections (DO NOT SPAM) and you could probably get 1000 easily in 6 months, or less.

most people are active at the beginning then they give up half way through then it takes them about 4-6 months to do it

Yeah make good posts alot.. And sumbit things (own work not C+P) and you get it in like 1 month =D
Its easy to make 4 good usefull guides with good picture and clean layout. If all get in you have your premmy or almost for sure =D
