The following is the comment from one WOW player after he read the life of gold farmers.
Comments:This was a very interesting article to read. I've been playing World of Warcraft since it was released, and then on and off. It's a great game, and I'm glad that people are making money from it, and getting a better quality of living. It's a shame though, that many people have to result to in-game currency farming in order to make a living and survive. I hope one day poverty can be eliminated in all parts of the world. On a side note, I know that some gaming companies, like Sony Online Entertainment have made gold selling and buying legal, at least to my knowledge. Perhaps other companies will follow this trend, though Blizzard will probably not.
The next is an investigation in a China forum of Game Design.
Nineteen percent object to gold farming, they thought it destroy the balance of game and take off the potential profit of game.
Thirty percent support game farmers to some certain, and could reflect game’s popularity, such as most popular game, world of warcraft, wow , there are thousands of gold farmers in wow.
Half voters express indifference to this.
And how do you think about this?
