if you have a computer that will run two at the same time.. then i think we might be ablwe to help you
tell me the specs. on your comp... honestly im down for that stuff, but if you want to fry your cpu in one 2 hour session.. then go for it... i don't think anything under 512kb L2 cache 2600xp or p4 2.5 at most will barely handle it

When at home i'll be playing with both a laptop and a computer, but a lot of times I'll just be on one or the other (most likley laptop)
Computer = Athlon 2.66mhz, gForce 4 Ti, 1 gig ram
Laptop = Pentium 1.5 M (= about a 2.4 regular pentium from what i gather, uses less cycles in the cpu, but many more instructions per cycle, or soemthing like that), Radeon 9600 128mb video card, 1 gig Ram

you won't be able to run that on eaither machine without at least 1.5-2 gigs of ram, 128 mb vid card is good.. and you need some raptor 10k rpm drives.. maybe even reg wd's sata raided or something for faster access when comp is that laggy.. and for sure better cpu's or double.. 2.. is ok but you will need ht technology or dual cpu's to get the multi tasking effect.. otherwise you will have so bad of comp side lag that you won't even want to play like that... go for it.. i will see what i can do, but no promises.. and even if i or someone finds somthing, gl with running it on almost any reg comp. edit: also what speed is bus is your ram? that also make s huge difference.. is it dual channel? mobo? thats very important.. who knows most people have mobos that don't support anything more the pc2600 and higher than 250 mHz and also might not even support high amounts.. all those factor if you will even be able to handle it... i wouldn't like to hear about someone overheating their comp because they wanted to play 2 things at once the mostbeating on your proccessors i would say.. some hl mod (ie cs ) and l2 at the same time... then while you are waiting to fill hp. you own some fools.. good times.. ill look on getting that for ya, but i wouldn't suggest running on there unless you are positive it will run it feral

I don't see how all that would be involved, I've run multiple instances of Dark Age of Camelot on lesser systems and the Leniage 2 is only around 250 megs launched. The proccessor would'nt overheat unless it was overclocked wouldn't it? Once a proccessor is running on 100% CPU usage, which they do all the time, don't they just delay until they can run the task (i.e. lower frame rates). Don't modern computers just shut down/lock-up with hardware error if they're overrheating anyways? I run multiple things at once all the time including very intensive 3D rendering application on dual screens. I'm not an expert, sounds like you know what your talking about, but i'll take the risk, just see what you can come up with My ram is PC2700 DDR 333 btw

weird that you say that. because it doesn' matter what os you have.. if you are running lots of things. you will run out of ram and hit your paging file... thus meaning it is possible to hit more than 512mb
maybe the os and all related processes don't take more than 512mb.. but that doesn't sound like it works anyways

Admin, email/pm me or maybe we can find another time to talk on IM. The instructions I wrote make sense to me but I already know how to do it so they may not be all that clear. I'll do what I can to clarify any of the points that are causing you trouble as well and updating the doc to reflect these clarifications.
