GM Tower : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Any of you ever ended up in the GM Tower? If so, where the hell is it? I just wondering because I want to find it and get into it

its in light elf area..

There is a fort on one of the hills/mountains south of the town. the jail is on top of some of the portcullises as they have little ledges which you cant jump over.

On the Lineage II boards they made a post about dealing with bots and they said "GM Tower." Im thinking this is simmilar to the GM city in the sky they had back in the old days of EQ. if we could explore it then hell might be NPCs there that give away free !@#$%^&*

There aren't. If there were you would not be allowed there. Meaning they would no lock you in this place.

As for the EQ Guide zone. =) I know alot about that.
Originally it was one of the floating islands in Plane of Sky.
Contrary to popular belief the reason to move the island was not because players found out how to get to it. The reason why it was moved was due to lag. Raid size forces frequently lagged the zone so the guides could not do their job properly.
Even if a player were to get to the island/zone being able to use the merchants on the island was restricted to those who had a cirtain flag on their character. I would assume that NCSoft would implement something similar. Not completely unfeasable as they have quest NPC's who won't give quests till cirtain criteria are met and trainers that wont talk to you if your the wrong race.
Getting to the island in PoSky was only able to be done via a nodrop gate item each guide had. Once CSHome was created the /zone command worked for travel there.

I almost became a guide lol. But the gm place is just a place to lock people up. They get to sit there and have fun!!! ...

The only reason to go to the tower is to give a friend an escape scroll to be free..

hmm ill set up a shop there selling scrolls for 1 mil a piece

You can't get up there. You need to actually be inside the fortress under your friend to trade.

ok i know i am gonna sound like a tard... but WTF are you talking about ! ! ! why are there ppl in jail?

peole that are suspected of botting are transferred to GM tower. also i was transported there once for excessive swearing. i had gotten pk'd, dropped an item, and started swearing on shout. GM msged me tellin me to stop, and i told him to !@#$%^&* off... he tp'd me, gave me a warning, told me he'd ban me if i did it again. i cant believe i didn't get banned... lol

wow why didnt i get sent there.. last time the server crashed like 5 times in a row i petisioned a GM and he was like how can i assist you.. i was like fix the FuKking Servers you retards... he just ended the petition

next time it happens tell them to FSCK the server.. if they ban you for it tell them what FSCK means lol
