So you want to have a Baby Dragon. Here is some information before you want to get one. Baby Dragons are expensive to take care from my experience, but when you get them to become a strider well that’s a whole new story. Base on what I know there are 3 kinds of dragons you can obtained.
First one is Star Hatchling, and 2nd is the Wind Dragon, and last is the Twilight Hatchling. Once you have them they all start out with level 35. Leveling them up is very hard and tedious. You will need a lot of patience. Food consumptions the highest is the Star, then Wind, and last is Twilight.
The Star Hatchling which has weak attack but strong defense and it is the only baby dragon that has the hate skill, but I think in chronicle 2 it is taken out. I don’t see the hate skill in my dragon anymore. The Wind Hatchling is the opposite with the Star Hatchling. And the Twilight well it’s the weakest of everything. Ok, now you know your dragons. Remember you can’t choose the dragon, it’s at random.
I wouldn’t recommend doing this at level 35. I suggest at least level 45-50, but it’s your funeral if you want to start early. You can obtain the quest at 35 if you wish to. The quest isn’t that hard but dangerous due to high level monsters (level 43-52) which are aggressive. Remember, luck has to be on your side too.
So I hope luck is with you. Now let’s go to Giran and begin the quest. Once you are there talk to Pet Manager Cooper, he is right outside facing the Luxury Shop.
Once you have talked to him and accepted the quest, he will tell you to go to Hunter’s Village. From there you will need to talk to Wisman Cronos.
You can take the long way and run there or if you have the cash then go to the gate keeper and travel to Hunter’s Village. The cost is 9800 adena. Once you are at Hunter’s Village talk to Wisman Cronos. He is next to the Gate Keeper, on her left.
Talk to Wisman Cronos and he will tell you that only Fairy can successfully raise dragon. He will also tell you that you have to find the Fairy in the Enchanted Valley, which you will tell him to show you the direction. Old Cronos will then tell you that you need a fairy stone to be able to talk to her. So he gives you a list of ingredient to make the fairy stone.
You will be given a choice of making a regular Fairy Stone or a deluxe Fairy Stone. I choose regular because it is less costly. The ingredient is in your Quest inventory. Look at the Fairy Stone List and it will show you:
Regular Fairy Stone
10 Toad Lord Back Skins
10 coals (buy off anyone who sells it)
10 charcoals (buy off anyone who sells it)
1 D Grade Gemstone (buy at Magic Shop)
1 silver nugget (buy off anyone who sells it)
Deluxe Fairy Stone
20 Toad Lord Back Skins
10 coals (buy off anyone who sells it)
10 charcoals (buy off anyone who sells it)
1 C Grade Crystal (buy off from any Dwarf)
5 silver nuggets (buy off anyone who sells it)
The only ingredient which you have to work for is the Toad Skin, which is located at Cruma Tower. Go there and hunt the Toad Lord for the skins. It isn’t easy to obtain the skins; it might take you from 2-5 toads before you get 1 skin. Remember to bring along with you some Antidote, since chronicle 2 came out those bugger can case poison on you. So, if you don’t want to sit on your butt all day, remember to have a few with you.
Once you have collected all the skin, head to Dion Village and go to the magic shop to talk Maria.
She will then combine all the ingredients to make you the Fairy Stone. Once you have the stone head back to Hunter’s Village to talk to Wisman Cronos. If you are rich then use the Gate Keeper, otherwise ask someone to give you Wind Walk and run like you never run before….(RUN RUN)
Finally you made it back to Hunter’s Village, talk to Wisman Cronos and he will be surprise that you got the Fairy Stone. So he finally tells you talk to Guard Byron.
Guard Byron is located at the North Entrance Gate.
Talk to him, and he will tell you to go look for the Fairy in the Northern part of the Enchanted Valley.
When you enter the Enchanted Valley makes sure to make a right on the first waterfall, then keep on the lower level and never go up on any hill to go to the second level. Use the right side to reach Fairy Mymyu. Beware of Liele Elder, Satyr, and Kronbe Spiders they are aggressive. Liele Elders – Level 52 ; Satyr – Level 48 ; and Kronbe Spiders – Level 43 . So stay clear away from them as possible.
Once you have reached the Fairy, talk to her and she will take your offer of the Fairy Stone and give you a vial of potion which is deadly to all races except for Dragons. Once they sniff it they well regain their senses and talk to you. She will tell you a list of 5 dragons and you can go to any of them.
Drake Kalibran: West of Oren, on top of a mountain.
You will have to kill Road Scavengers along Death Pass to collect 20 eggs.
Drake Exarion: North West of Oren Castle.
You will have to kill Leto Lizzardnam Warriors South of Oren to collect 20 eggs.
Wyvern Suzet: Between Partisan Hideaway and Death Pass
You have to kill Breka Orc Overlords north of Giran to collect 20 eggs.
Wyvern Shamhai: South West of the "D" in Death Pass on the in-game map.
You have to kill Death Seekers at the Execution Grounds to collect 20 eggs.
Drake Zwov: End of the river above Iris Lake east.
You have to kill Marsh Spiders at Cruma Tower to collect 20 eggs.
Now use your scroll of escape to go back to Hunter’s Village. I choose the easiest and closest which is Drake Kalibran in Oren Village.
Talk to Drake Kalibran and she will tell you that her eggs were stolen by Road Scavenger near Death Pass. She asked you to hunt them down and return 20 of her eggs and she will do anything for you. As a reference to her lost eggs, she gives you a scale to identify her eggs. Now go to Death Pass and hunt Road Scavenger, which will take 2-5 Scavengers before you get 1 egg.
Once you have obtained all 20 of her eggs, return to Drake Kalibran. She then will grant you one wish, which you will ask her for 1 of her eggs.
At first she will try to convince you not to take any of her eggs, and she will give you all the money you want, but at the end due to her promise to you she will give you one of her eggs. The egg is fragile and has gone through hardship and many ordeals, so you must take the egg back to the Fairy Mymyu first or the egg will die. Now hurry, take the egg and go back to the Enchanted Valley to see Fairy Mymyu.
Fairy Mymyu will use her magic to help deliver the hatchling and give it a home in Fairy’s land and not of this mortal world. She will give you a flute to summon it when you need it.
