knights guide to succes : Lineage 2 General Discussions

first things first never leave home without ss they r the most important thing u need besides equipment and weps. Also it's a good idea to use have health and alcrity pots with u help ur lvling go faster(haste pots r good too if u have the money). besides theese things SAVE YOUR ADENA that is the most important tip of all. Now exspecially at low lvl's when u don't have many skills weps take presidence over armor but keep in mind that at higher lvls armor gives some great attributes that can give u an edge.
PARTYING
Knights r the tanking class of l2 and r greatly needed party members so when looking for a party go for healers first and then archers becuz they have the advantage of doing good damage at long range and will make lvling all the faster.Only get a buffer in a group larger than three people becuz up until then u need to focus on members whos skills r more compatible to a knights. also unless lvling in a place that is 10+higher lvls than u keep ur party 5 members and below or there wont be enough adena OR expeirnce to be worth it.
SKILLS

all knighths skills r a little diferent but for the most part r set up the same way. u wont get skills that go right out and deal damage but u will get skills that stun, poison or hamper ur enemy in some way. It's important to lvl up your magic resestence becuz more monsters use magic the higher the lvl they r. Also dont wiast ur time on skills like hate aura there r other ways to attract monsters that dont cost mp.And of course always get ur summons first when getting skills.
EQUIPMENT
equipment for knights is pretty straight forward heavy armor,sheild,sword theres really no way to go wrong just get the equipment to go with ur mastery's.however deciding wut armor u get at b grade is a bit of a chalenge. for people who r solely tankers u wont armor that gives to con so the obvious choice is doom however for people who maybe soloing strength is more important than con so blue wolf would be the choice then. i recomend useing armor that gives to attributes that r already high. for example blue wolf for dark elves and doom for humans and ork destroyers(however ther strength is high too and blue wolf goes well with two-handed swords).Elves r boned either way since there isnt armor that adds to dex ): besides that swords and sheilds are pretty easy to figure out. the only thing i would add is that dark elfs might find that dual swords can be used too since they have no skills that need a shield to work but it's really up to the player to decide.

..you dont know anything about knights..ie: tanks, obviously you would know that SK (DE) is the tank with highest patk with sword and shield as well as a very high shield defense rate. anyhow this info is all basic.
