Happy Third Anniversary, everyone!
On April 28, 2007, Lineage II celebrates three years in North America and Europe. We’re very excited that you have continued your journeys in Aden with us! These past three years have been full of fun and adventure, and we hope you have many fond memories of partying with your friends and defeating your enemies.
Lineage II is entering an exciting time where the future will bring many changes. Some of you have heard of The Kamael, the new race coming in The First Throne. As we get closer to the update, we will begin releasing information about the race and the update, so stay tuned!
Other changes are also happening in the very near future. Today we are sad to announce the departure of Adam “Rust” Davidson, the Producer of Lineage II. Adam is pursuing another opportunity, and we wish him the best! He will be posting soon to say his goodbye to you. I will also be leaving the team; next Friday, May 4, is my last day as the Lineage II Community Manager. I will post more on this subject next week, but I would like to say now that has been an absolute pleasure to get to know all of you over these past three years.
Tim “Ornery” Tan will be taking the reins of Lineage II as the new Producer, so please join me in welcoming him to his new role! Another familiar face to some of you, Sam “Omega” Han, is now the Associate Producer of Lineage II. Both Tim and Sam have been part of Lineage II since closed beta. They are both very enthusiastic about what’s coming up for the game and will also be posting soon with some more information.
Major game updates and an exciting new direction -- there are great things in store! We look forward to entering this new age of Lineage II together with you.

I just wanted to take a quick moment to thank you all for playing L2 and making this an exciting and rewarding project. It really doesn't seem like 3.5 years that I've been involved with the game, but time flies and all that jazz.
Ornery's been doing all of my work for some time now anyways, so please congratulate him for finally getting the title and recognition he deserves. Also, say some kind words for Mistryl, who's tirelessly devoted herself to this community and at many times done the job of an entire team of OCRs all by herself.
But mostly, thank you all. Lineage II has been a great experience, and with such experienced and talented team members manning the posts, I'm sure things will only get better and even more invigorated.
It's been an honor working for you guys and I hope you continue on to the next update and beyond, as Lineage II is just getting going. Take care and hug an elpy for me.
~Adam "Rust" Davidson
