They've been busy getting the PTS together and then evaluating it since it hit the test servers on March 8th. We did, however, manage to get a few moments to speak with Jae-Hyuk Han (Lead Designer) and Kelly Knox (Community Coordinator) of NCSoft. They had a few insights as to what to expect with the Chaotic Throne series.
Vault:
How many Chaotic Throne updates should we expect? Can you tell us anything about their general nature?
Jae-Hyuk Han:
We don’t know for sure, but we are guessing that The Chaotic Throne would be about 3 years long, similar to the Chaotic Chronicle. There are many plans for the Chaotic Throne. Fortress/territory/nation wars are one of them and we’d like to make it so that everyone can join the war with fewer worries about the PvP penalties. We are also planning to add unique rewards for PvP content. We are currently going through much testing and careful review of the future updates. Our goal is to provide fun to you rather than stress!
