L2 - NCsoft Signs Exclusive Game Development Deal with Sony : Lineage 2 General Discussions

NCsoft announced an exclusive game development deal with Sony Computer Entertainment that provides for NCsoft to create several online games for the PS3 and PSP accessible through PLAYSTATION®Network. The press release can be found here and reads:

"Although company officials did not divulge any details regarding the names or types of games in development, NCsoft officials did say the games would be created from both existing intellectual properties (IP) owned by NCsoft, as well as new IP."

In addition, Razor from Warcry reports the following from the Sony E3 2007 keynote:

"Let's start with our partners games first. We're providing them with the tools they need to develop great games for the PS3. We're very pleased to announce that NCsoft will be joining the PlayStation camp. You probably know them from Lineage, City of Heroes, and Guild Wars. Very soon, they'll be brining that to the PS3 exclusively."
