Since the start of Lineage 2 there have always been the ones who complain about basically every single aspect of it and those who have stayed silently watching in their corner. With ever new update, chronicle, event launch and what not else the postings of dissatisfaction have grown in numbers, some founded others more of a personal ‘I want it all’ nature. Granted there are still a lot of flaws that could be ironed out, but still a gaming of this scale is hardly ever a finished work (unless you go for the production of a set environment with instances).
Lineage was set out to be a game of many years span to achieve it’s ultimate goal…But from my personal observation it seems most people are less inclined to stick with a game for as long as some others (like me) have done. It is due to the coming of players who feel the need to cheat their way up and ‘buy’ themselves to the top that Lineage 2 has come into a negative light these days. Something I deeply deplore for great effort and creativity as well as genius programming has been put in the land of Aden and Elmore. A game is in the end always what the player (in this case players) make out of it….
