Lineage 2 Mod Position Contest : Lineage 2 General Discussions

We are holding an official Contest for the Mod Position on Tault.com's Knight Online Sections. If you are intersted in being a mod please post a reply as to why. Keep in mind that premium and no premium members have this ability. Then the current mods and myself will discuss who we feel shows the best potential. Well enjoy and good luck to all.

Mod responsibilities are as follows:
- Removing Foul Language form users.
- Suspending Users based on ill actions.
- Keeping posts flowing for the current area.
- Creating a Topic of the Week for the area.
- Helping Others in the L2 sections if needed.
- And avid poster.

Mod perks are as follows:
- Lifetime membership as long as they are a mod.
- Ability to be sent in exploits for users wanting to join.
- Thier own (name)@tault.com email address.
- Ability to give members premium access based on your decessions.

I am intrested in being a mod, and the following reasons are why:

-Solid gamer, play alot of games, alot of the time.
-Experienced and Fair Mod, I've run forums, and im not the kind of person who bans people for random reasons, I don't have a personal side I wouldnt take any actions based on how I felt about someone personally eg ban someone becuase I didnt like them.
-I play lineage2 12+ hours a day.
-Experienced exploiter, guide and book writer, and programmer.

I use the computer about 16 solid hours a day, and am activley contactable 14 of them atleast... I would be able to moderate the forums constnatly based on they are medium low traffic and im an active person.

I am quick and efficent at such tasks as browsing posts for offence or out of place content, and editing, moving, locking/closing thread, removing and or other actions in relation to 'unproper' posts.

I could easily keep topics active, and as a hardcore lineage2 player would be able to keep a weekly topic up every week always. And keep up to date threads on things happening with the game.

As both a user, and even more so as a mod, I always try to help people with anything I can, especially in games, and would of course do so in the l2 forum.

I would make both an active and fair mod, post extremly commonly, and

Basically all i can say is i spend awful amounts of time on mmorpgs and online games it almost scares myself.
If im not idling in official forums im chatting on player boards anyways.
So since this forum seems to have lots of tips for new players and pros alike ill probably be here alot to gain knowledge and share knowledge.
As far as moderating ive been an active mod in several forums before. Many anime forums so i know the general rules that moderators abide to and what needs to be done.

Alright, I do not know if this contest is still active, but what the heck! This board really looks promising.
A little background history on me first. I was a Talk City chat host (if anyone remembers that) for 2 years. This included monitoring chats, hosting events, doing interviews, and maintaining a stable relationship between the chatters. I lost the job though after Talk City went bankrupt and closed down for a bit.
First game I played was EverQuest....and I was sucked in...for 3 years. I eventually became a level 65 Druid and participated in planar raids. Got keys to most of the elemental planes, then quit because of a guild problem =) After EverQuest, came: DAoC, AO, SB, FFXI and some others. Also with EverQuest, I was very active in the support channel helping people who came in shouting "PLZ PLZ NEED A WORLD KICK" and other stuff GMs had no time to deal with (since they "cannot world kick from a chat channel") This alleviated some of the congestion they were facing. Another board I was actively posting on is World of Warcraft, before it became beta only. Helped users find answers to their questions, and posted some of my own as well =) Outside the gaming world I was a Tech Support for a local High School, so had to be very people friendly.

That's enough background infos ^^ Currently beta testing Lineage II, with some Warcraft III on the side...muahah I spend a lot of time on both and homework IRL...damn college. I am very active within every game and hope to be active to these boards. I can't say I know how to actively exploit games and such, but when a newbie needs help, I can help them. I am an experienced developer currently studying for a MCSD.NET and will teach a class on C# at my high-school. Currently developing RageXDCC I specialize in decoding and documenting internet protocols and holes in them. I have been playing Lineage II since closed beta began. I have been in close contact with ninji so if you need to talk to someone who has gotten to know me better he would be the prime person to go to.

- I'm an excellent gamer, having played a wide variety of MMORPG's including, but not limited too: Dark Age of Camelot, Ragnarok Online, Ultimate Online, Anarchy Online, Final Fantasy 11, Asheron's Call 1, Asheron's Call 2, and Lineage 2 now .

- I'm a dedicated worker, and look to improve upon situations instead of immediately destroying them based on my own(cruel) options, and opinions

- I love to write, including guides to games, and have always found writing to be a big inspiration for me. I hope to help a lot more people in the future.

- I'm pretty learned at Frontpage (web page designer) as well, as being several years in experience with Adobe Photoshop. I'm looking to hopefully end up in a career in the gaming department.

All and all, I'd love to mod the forums, and keep watchful eye for perpetrators. I also love to help people(as much as I love to squash them), and think I could bring a lot to the table here at Tault. I am a deticated hardcore gamer especially in the mmorpg genre. I have player/or beta tested just about every single mmorpg that has been translated into english (and some korean 1's as well)


I am an active member on the forums who is willing to deticate my time to help the community of this site. I am willing to hear and listen to anyone who has an opinion and will decide fairly on every matter. I will ban or delete posts that hurt the community or cause a flame war. If I do ban or delete posts then I will do so in a fair manner.


I know lineage 2 as much as my home. I am one of the original testers of 350 internal beta testers of NA beta. I am friends with the head GM after all he hooked me up with the spot in beta before sign ups were even posted on the official site


If I do get picked to be a mod I will show a positive attitude at all times and will ALWAYS promote a fair and balanced area and a safe enviroment for the community against flamers and trolls.

I have experience as a mod in other forums. I generally help newbies out when I have the time in-game because I think that is alot more fun than leveling myself.

I know the rules of being a forum mod and have always abided by them and would appreciate it if I was picked as being a mod

i would love to be a Mod ....although it says for KO id like to be one for lineage2 or Dark Age of Camelot

we all know im here all the time already and have made many posts this will be number 60 i believe and only been here a few days aside from the full day of lineage2 i play, i check these forums when i wake up i check them before i go to sleep i check when the servers go down i read all new and check some i have looked at in the past...and ive already seen some that need to be moved to proper locations

i have been playing video games for a very many years mostly console i played 4 or 5 months of xbox live i just love video games and im good to boot but for the last year or so its been PC games DAoC got me started on mmorpgs thats what my roommates were playing deccided to try and liked it been playing them ever since, i was in the closed beta of L2 and have been in the OB since a week after it came out

mostly all of what i have posted has been useful to this evergrowing community whether its giving tips or opinions
i enjoy this community very much all good people
