NCI posted the following announcement regarding the castle seige in Lineage II:

After our first weekend of Castle Sieges on Bartz, Kain, Erica and Devianne, Clan ThorForce of the Redemption Alliance is the first - and so the far only - alliance on any North American server to take and hold any castle! They took Giran Castle on Bartz at 6:45 PM PDT on Sunday, July 11, 2004, which was a mere forty-five minutes into the siege and held it to the end! Thank you to everyone who participated in the sieges. We look forward to the upcoming sieges on Sieghardt, Lionna, Gustin, and Hindemith next week!

45 minutes seems like a long time ;P

how long did they have to hold it for? until all NPCs were dead?

...? the siege was yesterday night at 8 PM pacific time. it's not 2 weeks old...

yeah they made a line with adena and said that if you cross it you will most likely be killed i was like FUg it and when right up to the castle gate and sat down and sold SS's... no one killed me..
