Question about the sub class system : Lineage 2 General Discussions

Sry, i just rejoined the game, and got a question for the sub-class system.
When you attain a subclass, does ur character remains the same race and gender and race states?

Meaning, say if I have a lv 75 elf sword singer, and i switch to a sub class of prophet. Does my char still looks the same and follow the same race state as the elf ?

only the name change if u a sword singer and u change to a prophet than the word sword singer change to prophet and all ur sword singer skill change into prophet skill...it like change ur char hold race and bcoming a hold diff race but u dont start from lvl 0 u start from lvl 40 and ur char dont change...

Appearance is same, all rest is reset to subclass's...

When switching classes, buff state and symbols are not maintained. Your character's property, PvP/PK counter, information related to the clans and sieges, recommendation value and number of votes, friends list, party information, numeric value related to the Seven Signs, and quest information are retained. Warehouse and inventory are also shared.

and I guess you keep as well the skills you learned in your "main class" right?

No, you switch to a lvl 40 char that have only the skills before lvl 40 and none above from your new class.

OMG! then why subclass???

1- don't have to grind from 1-40
2- keep name, stuff and friends
3- keep clan, castles, clan halls
4- you can change subclasses as much as you want

Them why subclass?

Well i have a friend who was a Elven elder and he change to a SPS and that ****** have a freaking casting speed he's almost inmortal...
