Elf levels 1- 30 (fighter and mage)

Introduction

Elves are the fastest class when it comes to running, leveling and kiting which makes elves the best class in lineage 2 so far, unless it gets bugged.
When you start off your game you will hear a “ring” and you will see a question mark icon will pop up. Click on the icon and read through the tips and they teach you the hotkey guides. Some useful hot keys are

The first quest you should do in lineage 2 is the map quest (elf tutorial), so that you will not get lost. Talk to one of the mother temps and kill keltirs till you collect 4 Neptir Fangs. Give to fangs to mother temp, give the received leaf to Nerupa (spider npc) and receive your map.

Then do the pixie quest and level up till you hit around level 5 and concentrate on killing keltirs and other wolfs in area, and try to find an area with a large spawn. Now you can buy an 883 adnea weapon (sword) in Elf town, and make sure you also buy a bow.
If you don’t have enough money continue hunting keltirs / doing keltir quest until you have enough. Do not buy other armor skip newb armor because it is not much of a help, just save enough for 1 883 dagger, short bow, 500-1000 arrow, wooden set. Newbie gloves and boots are also useful until level 12 +.

From here on you should go from keltir -> elder keltir -> goblin -> orc -> orc grunt -> spore fungus - >dryad
Now you should be level 10 make sure you continue doing the level 8 spore fungus quest
and Orc Necklace quest
Do the level 10 quest for red sunset sword / staff: continue hunting Orcs and spore fungus’s.
After that you should be level 11 continue hunting spore fungus / dryads / orcs.
Do level 12 quest forstaff / sword of sential and bone shield.


*Sell your red sunset swords*


Level up till your 13 and then sell your sentinel sword. You should have around 50-70k, buy a dirk dagger for 35-40k from people, buy a hunting bow 35-40k and then upgrade your weapons when you get to level 20. (for mages save up for a bless of eva 136k or cheaper from players)

From 14 - 20 you should be hunting in this order, with the above items (dirk dagger, hunting bow, wooden set). (mages à bless of eva, and any good armor you can afford). Continue doing the spore fungus quest if you want to be richer and get items faster, or continue to level up fast using this formula below:

Stock up on Soul Shots buy 1000 for 8 a each at magic store if you want to level fast.
14 -15 - Dyrad ribe, dryad, Orc sub leader, lirens (plays a big part in leveling up, especially for mages)
16- 17- spider quest
18 -plague quest
20 - class change quest. (note: do not become temple knight you will regret it, they have bad skills)
Continue hunting lirens if you want to get a lot of cash.
By now you should have bronze set and 200k weapon.
21 - Teleport to gludin and hunt puma, werewolves, pincer spiders,
22 - 25 - hunt every thing inside gludio and gludin ( party to gain fast exp) ( no-party to gain more
cash) do this technique often and make sure you solo more often than group. To get more adnea, also when soloing use SS and hunt lower level mobs.
By now you should know what good armor to get. And make sure you buy a 200k bow!
30 - start going to Cruma tower, and venturing to fairy valley in large groups ( if you want to live)

Lineage Macro Script Creation Guide

First download newest version of A.C tools

Now read through all the commands and get familiar with them.

**Procedure will be an important part of creating a macro**
Procedure: a set of instructions for macro to follow (make sure it ends with a end statement)
Call: will call a procedure to act on a set of instructions.
Condition and loops: you should loop the main part of you macros so that it will keep cycling
Color Commands: basically is for getting and testing color coordinates, useful for hp detection
Flow controls: you can pause continue your macro using these commands and break your macro out of loops, and even restart your macro. For example an error occurred inside game then restart macro.
Mouse Commands: some extra commands to set your mouse to auto click and position for you
Constants: used for macros to hold or store information such as on or off, if it is true or false. (1 = on , 0 = off)
Keys: type keys and then {what ever you wish to press} for macro to auto push a button for you
Delays: type delay and however x seconds for example delay 5 sec or delay 5 min
End: must use the end statement for each procedure, loops etc.
Object Mapper: use the object Mapper which can be downloaded here: to find coordinates / colors on screen. Take a screenshot of your character and menus. Make sure all your menu’s are open and do not hit alt + h or it will hide your menu’s. Then load the Screenshot onto object mapper click on the point you want to find the color and coordinate and then hit calculate. This is good for hp detection and when to tell your macro that you died, or you need heals / resting and when to run.

Now browse the forums and look at other people’s macro bots and try to follow up on how they coded their macros. You may also ask questions on those forums.

Exploits Guide: Current tips and trips

1)Free boat ride: Stand next to a boat and wait for it to start moving, once it starts to move quickly jump onboard, if you did this right you should be on the boat without having to purchase any tickets.
2)Died? Respawn on same location lose 1-2%: When you die, press ctrl + x and hit exit game and do not confirm yet. Right when you die their will be a “go back to village” tab, now hit that and immediately when you see your character stand up, hit exit really quick. Then when you load up the game again you are at the location you died at. This method only takes 1 - 2 % experience away from you instead of a heavy 5 - 10 %.

3)dupe? This is not tested by me so I don’t know if it works ^^. (**Rumors I heard of**) When the server lags it takes a while for the server to process commands you give, for example soul shots, sometimes when you click your soulshots it does not activate or take effect until 2 mins later or less (anywhere btw 5 secs – 2min), this is due to lag. When you submit quest items you can test you lag using soulshots, if you have lag then click multiple as much as possible to receive your reward multiple times. Good quest to do it on grim collecting quest. Some people say its effect by server lag some say client (computer) lag, if you want to test this out try downloading a lot using kazaa, bittorent, and open all programs that make you lag. Some say this is fixed other say it’s not.

4)*scamming**Lineage 2 has a glitch, when selling value’s exceeds 2.147.483.647 adnea, the numbers starts to fall negative. So 4.4 billion adnea will cause the the numbers to become positive again. Here is how to scam using the info above.
Tell a person to sell you arrows, soul shorts, crystals or other stackable items for 10 000 000 each and x amount of adnea (x= whatever) for the weapon or item that you wanna rip off. Now you need to buy the number of stackables that will exceed the 2.147 billion adnea mark, and the item that you wish to rip off. BOOM free items for only a couple of adnea.

5)** Scamming ** You need 2 people you and a friend 1 buying and 1 selling

(person1)Tell you friend to set up a shop that buys a item for how much adnea you want.
Then you (as the other player) will create a sell shop (person2) and then sell the same item as your friend but for a lower price. Some stupid guy will buy your item that you sell for 100k when it is only worth 50k and then try to sell it to the other person (person1) for 150k thinking that they would make a profit of 50k. Make sure person1 does not have 150k on cash, so when he tries to buy the item from the idiot he will not have enough cash and you as (person2) will make 50k profit.

6)Trapping mobs will let you level continuously (pathing) without ever losing hp and all you need is a lot of mana or lots of arrows a bow. First trap I will teach you is liren traping.

a.Liren trapping: location is located at: Stand exactly at that location and just stand their and hit lirens, they won’t attack you unless you move out of your spot. For mages gather lots of lirens and then go that that location and use AoE spell. FAST experience.

b.Go to Elven fortress, and go to the first room, then the next room on the left at the second hallway. The rooms should be full of orc fighters and leaders, and in the center of the room their will be a tile (floor thingy) with a crack in it, stand in that spot and no mobs will attack you even if you attack them

c.At sea of spores, you can attack mobs through the myst wall and the will not attack back. It’s good experiences but I Believe GM’s monitor this spot. Just don’t macro here and it will be fine. 30 – 40 + mobs are found here

d.Travel to Elven Forest or Darkelf town. On the map in game there is a rock waterfall and it looks like a mountain on the map, near a pond. If you go past the waterfall there is a pond and lots of mobs that spawn like spiders, and basilisks. Get mobs to chase you and then run along edge of pond and they will fall in and will just sit their not attacking you. All you gotta do is kill it using bow or magic.
