Lineage Radio

With more and more SOE games putting out a radio for a game, how does everyone think the Lineage Radio will turn out? It has some great potential as long as its nots the same thing over and over. Has anyone listened to another games radio and can give some insite to it?

Well, I for one applied for the job as content editor and I am still waiting for any response. But for the games radio side I can tell you it can be a blast if people really put some effort to it, take for example the radio www.fragfm.co.uk ... they play some quality music, from every spectre of it and they still get a lot of +++ because of some great music remixes linked with the theme of games such as CSS, WoW and stuff like that ...

ps: Ever heard the techno remix "Leroooy Jeeeenkins" ?

I'm for it.

It will give uniqueness to Lineage II and hopefully bring even more players to the game. Personally the DJ needs a little work though, I thought he was dieing last time I heard him... He was talking so low; he was choking after every sentence. Although, the music they played was right on. Disturbed... System of a Down... Korn... Fear Factory... Much Much more too.

I hope they keep it up!

I havnt gotten to listen to it yet but on the lineage radio site it says there brodcasting live in 2 days..so ill have to listen in then :lol:

Well the new Lineage Radio has been released and after listening to it, it seems really nice. This is some info from the DJ we have.

L2 Vault: So, DJ Shonen, what do you think about the response to your opening day?

DJ Shonen: Friggen Incredible. Everyone was really great. They really opened up to us and started to pile in. I'm looking at the count now and its 267...that makes me giggle on the inside.

L2 Vault: What do you have in store for listeners today?

DJ Shonen: Free stuff, the interview with Mistryl and of course some hilarious shows that everyone will enjoy. AND between 6pm and 9pm est we will be announcing the winner of our tag line contest!

Has anyoen else listened to the radio yet?

I have just tuned L2 radio for the first time, and what song do I hear?.. Stairway to Heaven... ^^ ... this smells very very well.

This may sound a little stupid. But what is l2 radio? This thread is the first i've ever heard of it. If someone can either reply or pm me about it i'd appreciate it. Thanks
