Instant exit from game anytime exploit : Lineage 2 Submissions

To quit the game instantly, at any time, do the following:

1) Login to a character
2) Set up a private store (but don't start it yet). Doesn't matter what you put in it.
3) Go to system, click restart, don't confirm it yet.
4) Align the "Start shop" and "Confirm restart" buttons
5) Click the shop box so it's on top
6) Click start shop, and keep clicking quickly
7) You should restart as your character is sitting down to make the shop
Back in character select screen, you'll be disconnected from server (DON'T CONFIRM THIS BOX)
9) Click previous
10) Login again, select your character
11) Play. When you need to get out quickly, just confirm the "disconnected from server" box. Your game will close immediately.

You can save yourself from a bad duel, a powerful monster, or whatever doing this. Unknown if it has other purposes yet to be determined.

heh but u cant move the dc box it will b in the middle of screen kinda suxs.... o well if u kno ur gonna lose or doin something risky than its useful other than tht too much work for so little

o i also forgot to mention we do not have this exploit so ill leave it up to other members to decide whether this is a worth exploit of a membership or not

I may need to modify my instructions in a bit, it was working everytime before, but after posting this I can't seem to get it (possibly I miswrote it and am trying to follow my directions incorrectly hehe)

Here are the revised (and I'm pretty positive working) instructions:

1) Login to a character
2) Set up a private store (but don't start it yet). Doesn't matter what you put in it.
3) Go to system, restart. Don't confirm restart yet
4) Make sure the "Confirm restart" and "start shop" buttons are aligned
5) Make sure the "confirm restart" box is on top
6) Click restart, and VERY SOON after (but not immediately) click the "start shop" button that is underneath. [This is the hardest part]
7) You should restart back to the character select screen, where you'll be disconnected from server (DON'T CONFIRM THIS BOX)
9) Click previous
10) Login again, select your character
11) Play. When you need to get out quickly, just confirm the "disconnected from server" box. Your game will close immediately.


Step 6 is a bit tricky to get working. If you click too fast you will be disconnected but not restart to the char select screen. Too slow and you will restart but not be disconnected. Once you get the timing right though, it's easy and helpful (you can run up, hit people, then quit yourself )

While playing L2, hit Windows key + "R" and type "pskill l2" and hit enter. It'll kill the process. It's really effective, especially when you're in windowed mode - it's saved my !@#$%^&* (ed: why is there a swear filter here, is the forum intended for 12-year-olds?) many times when I had low hp and a monster faster than me was chasing me. So sorry, this exploit can't grant you access...

Hahaha... I think its the forum default for PHPBB, I had it on my old one... Then I killed it..

That works Naem but my personal favorite is to unplug my computer.

Edit: I was talking about the Phpbb Swear filter.

Fireworks: what about phpBB? nobody had even mentioned it in this thread.

Unplugging your computer while it's on is very bad for your Hard Drive and other periphreals, btw.

Id like to point out that currently there IS a delay between your disconnection time and in game time, and if you just unplug your net connection , the l2 game server will try and reconnect for atleast 15 seconds before disconnecting you, so if you try this when being chased by a train of mobs, youll probably die, and maybe drop soemthing and not be able to get it back....

Also, after c1, your char exsists in the world for 20 seconds after you log out, even with regular logouts... so.... have fun with however you can use this however you can anybody....

Untrue. A week ago I had 50 hp (level 11 or something) and was being chased by dread soldiers, who are much faster than me. They could not have been further than 2 seconds away from hitting me. I did my method of killing the process and I was still alive when I logged back in.

Slight problem...PSkill is a windows NT/2k app. only...most people dont use these versions on windows....

PSKill is winnt/2k/xp. You shouldn't be using buggy unstable 95/98/ME anyway.
