Saw this online somwhere and figured it'd be very fitting here.
As most of you have seen, if you play lineage, is the pvp system. If you attack someone, your name goes purple signifying that you have just recently attacked another player. If you manage to kill them, your name goes red showing this travesty and you amass Karma which you must then work off to go back to having a white name. Karma is worked off by killing creatures at a level comparable to yours. Instead of gaining experience, for each successful monster kill, your Karmic points are reduced and when they reach 0, you will be a normal character again. Capable of walking into towns without being attacked by Ceturions or other town guards.
Now the question is, how do you kill someone to get some free loot from what they drop on death? It's pretty easy, you just have to exploit the PvP systems's rules. Here's how:

#1First off, if you can, cast snare on the character you want to mess up.
(Your name will turn purple and blink because of this, but no matter, a few moments later your back to being normal white.) The effect of snare will cause them to run at 1/2 their normal speed. This has 2 effects, the first of which is fun for us.
The first effect is that if they are being chased by a mob, they will be slaughtered once the mob catches up to them. This enables us to be purple for a brief bit and then collect whatever it was that they happened to drop.
(You can get some pretty good items this way, esp. if it's a high level character.) The second effect is that if you proceed to keep taunting them with this spell, they might decide to kill you.
NOTE: This is only useful if you want to ruin their gaming experience.
Say they manage to kill you, you go respawn back in town, lose a percentage of exp. They on the other hand have just murdered another player and will have Karma as well as a red name. Anywhere they go, until they have wasted time erasing that debt, other players (esp. town guards) will kill them. Not fun at all to be in those shoes. But fun for you if that's the goal.
#2The second thing you can do is if they are fighting a mob, heal the mob. If they try to kill you for that, well, the worst thing that can happen is that they do. (See the first section for details.) If they are instead killed by the mob, hey, happy times looting.
