Welcome to Mvrphy's Ore Trails. Here you will find routes to take that will get you the most ore in the shortest possible time. Keep checking back for more maps, this will be updated as I progress through prospecting.
» Gathering Tips
Gather after midnight when there is hardly anyone on.
Buy an extra pick-axe or two from a supplier.
North Downs Trail
Midgewater Marshes Trail (First Radar Map)
» North Downs
Trail 1 is for Rich Iron Ore and Gold Ore. Follow the trail in a circle continuously and you will gather alot in short time.
Trail 2 is also for RIO and GO but not as much and its a longer distance.
» Midgewater Marshes
The MM Trail is for Copper and Tin only. Follow the number 8 continuously and there should be alot respawned by the time you get back.
Maps in progress : Lone Lands, Troll Shaws, Bree-land and Hobbiton
----- Notice for Subscription ------
This is an ongoing project and with radar maps it will show exactly what you see on the radar ingame but the full map with every single ore spawn on the map.
Ive applied to be a Volounteer guide writter.
1 More yay please someone.
Wont regret it

It definitely seems pretty accurate, great zone for ore.. Found a lot of spawns not on the map of course as I was trying to find the best path to take..
If ore spawns are a static location we should really set up the LOTROExtreme Radar to track them, and set up a database of spawns. Should be really simple to do...

/nay common knowledge
with your mining radar skill on you don't need this
with the way the quests over lap you soon see by overkill that ore x spawns along this route or that ore y spawns on that route
with kill quests and exploration deeds you see by repetition where ore spawns in general the level of the mobs in the zone dictate what ore spawns where........
nice to see someone take initiative but in this case, not needed

I have to diagree with you, i think its useful to know where each type of node spawns and the trail you take in order to get constant ore.
Quests cannot provide this and even with radar, its difficult to find ore as the radar has such a short range.
Keep up the good work, i look forward to seeing more

I say Yay...it is not common knowledge, even if you have radar imo. This maps out an efficiant route.

/yay
Sure you can collect ore while questing and running around. But if you're just looking for ore, then this is nice since you can get several times as much by constantly moving from one mine to the next, instead of hunting for them.

Tault_nefarious403 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): It definitely seems pretty accurate, great zone for ore.. Found a lot of spawns not on the map of course as I was trying to find the best path to take..
If ore spawns are a static location we should really set up the LOTROExtreme Radar to track them, and set up a database of spawns. Should be really simple to do...
Ore spawns on around a 2 minute timer, each node does not re-spawn at the same location all the time, and sometimes its different ore, it will take a lot of time to map all the ore.
I suggest a radar with ore nodes that are active and locations where it can spawn, only thing is, is this possible. Like I said before it will take some time to map out all the ore in-game, unless you make a bot to make it all out wondering around recording ore nods.
Btw I'm now a Grand Master prospector and only lvl 26

I say Yay.
True that the mining radar helps, but you must know where to look for. You must also run around everywhere.
This map defintely helps, even if it isn't as precise that a true radar.
