I haven't got/used VB .NET and would rather just stick with the tool(s) I know... I saw referenced in another thread that you were thinking of adding a COM wrapper so that the LOTROExtreme objects/methods would be referenceable within Visual Basic 6?

Is that working yet? or any ETA? or should I give up the ghost and find myself a copy of VB .Net? If the answer is the last, which would be the best version of VB or Visual Studio to get my hands on?

Thanks

Dude - give up the Ghost! Go Dot Net!!! Grab VS2005 if you can afford it.

If you are looking to do the work on a budget, try this http://www.icsharpcode.net/OpenSource/SD/

You could alway use the free version of VS2005 http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/downloads/

You just have to reg it before the 30 days is up. It just loses some of the features of the cost versions.

With the 1.0 Release, there will be a COM wrapper.
