VG Macros - Harvesting target macro (guide) : Vanguard Confirmed Bots / Macros / Hacks

You can use a macro to autotarget the closest harvesting node that you are looking for. It's quite easy to do. I've got mine setup for lumberjacking and quarrying, but you can do them for any.

All you have to do is setup a text only macro (right click any of the boxes on the bottom row and it will bring up the window) In this window all you have to do is give the button a title (for myself i use the type of node i'm looking for, wood in this case; and the tier of that node, tier 2 in this case)
I'll name it lumber T2. In the box you put 3 lines of text, one for each type of node in that tier (common, uncommon, rare). For tier 2 lumber they are as follows: barbed, thorn, bristle. The text for the command is very easy. The text in the box for my tier 2 lumber macro would be as follows:

/target barbed
/target thorn
/target bristle

It's very easy to setup, and very useful when you are harvesting. The command will target the closest node to you, but if you have an uncommon or rare that is farther away from the closest common node, it will target those since they are after the inital /target command. And since the uncommon and rares are always better to have you'll want to grab those even if you can't use them at that time.

Here is the list that i've taken from vanguard crafters (very good site) of all the node names from each tier and each type:

sandwhale, you need to get skill book if you haven't already to increase your cap.

What settings you have on for CE? Mine crashes after the launcher with typical settings used on other games.

? I never changed any settings on CE. I'm using 5.3, all I do is run it up, point to VGclient.exe and tick enable speed hack.

The macro works perfectly for me, it shows nodes up to 200 far and behind rocks, what would be perfect now is a hint how to combine it with the left-right movement key. I am using arrow left, arrow right to move left right. Would be super if there is a solution to add this macro to those keys.
It used to work in EQ with forage, but seems i am getting old and not that smart anymore to get it working.
Thanks if anyone could provide a hint.
