VG Guides - Low copper prices for level 16 armor : Vanguard Confirmed Guides / Tricks

In House of Fallen Leaves, the CB island raki/wood elf ISLAND, the armor vendors sell medium, light, and heavy armor for bugged prices. the level 16+ armor costs anywhere from 12-32 copper, instead of the 10+ silver it should be. Once it is fixed the prices will sell for about 8 silver! if you stock up on these you can get a huge profit once it is fixed.

prices are normal in C.B. 8+ silver so this is not valid.

edit: just realized i said CB town and not CB island. the town is
House of Fallen Leaves on the island of CB. the npcs sell the level 16 armor in House of Fallen Leaves for around 32 copper for the heavy, 12 for the light. If you go there(House of Fallen Leaves) you will see it. sorry for the confusion.

*I edited the main post from town to island just now.
It is a valid.

confirmed, prices are obviously off at house of fallen leaves.

i suggest just running a new char from CB and you'll probably get killed around the middle of hte blightlands, but that's ok because no exp penalty for death, and if you make it to the blightlands you'll be warped to house of fallen leaves.

another suggestion is obviously sending 12 or 14 slot bags to your new char(s), send some money, and buy as many 21c sashes or belts as possible. here's the reason:

they cost the least at 21c each. they should normally cost 10s93c each from the vendor just like all the other pieces except for the chest armor. they will sell back to vendors after the inevitable fix for 8s75c. so say you fill your inventory of 56 slots with these. 56 inventory slots times 21c equals 11s76c (that's your input cost). now when selling 56 of these, times 8s75c, you will get 4g90s back. that's a little over 41.5 times the original amount you put in.

however, if you do this with the heavy armor chestpieces, they cost 40c each. although they will sell for about 12s5c each, it takes more money to put to buy them in the first place. so it'll cost you about 22s40c to fill inventory, and you'll get back 7g. however, you're only making 31.25 times the money you put in. with the sash's, you're making over 41.5 times the money you put in.

hope i didn't lose ya there with all the math but this'll let you make more money by being able to discern which pieces to buy for max profitablity.

too long; didn't read?
1. confirmed,
2. start new char from CB with wood elf/raki
3. send bags to alt with money,
4.run north, then east to blighted lands
5. get killed in blighted lands so you rez at house of fallen leaves
6. buy belts/sashes at 21c
4. ????
5. PROFIT!

Ok bad thing about this is when they find out they have wrong price for the item all they got do add new item with some other name with the right price so you will end up losing all that coin.

i took a gamble and did this with the last "easy level 16 armor" thing. it was the exact same situation, just in a different vendor. all they did after the fix was change the price back to where it should be (10s75c) and sold em all back to vendors for profit. i don't see why anything should be different this time around.

just gotta be careful because they just did a mass suspension on people with what they deemed "suspicious" amounts of gold. like level 1 mules who had more than 5 gold were suspended. you then have to contact them through email and come up with an excuse why there's that much money which they investigate... hopefully get your account back. this was all on the station forums as guild "bank" mules were getting accounts suspended.

can just put money in the bank on your main char, and you're all set.

Oh yeah, make a wood elf load up cheat engine turn down graphics. set it to 25x speed hit the wood elf racial for 50% bonus speed and you make it there in under 3 minutes.

edit: I loaded up about 6 chars full. I'll be getting roughly 17 GOLD. lolz!

is there a bank in house of fallen leaves? but i know there's one in CB so it doesn't matter. good call though.

i'll be making about 24g and as soon as i cash in, i'm buying a bunch of mid level items on the exchange and selling em periodically for money as i need it, thus circumventing the "suspicion" suspension.

not bad for only putting in about 2g to begin with... buying bags for alts was the most expensive part.

Better idea, might cost more even though mailing costs money, but still. Buy a ton and MAIL them to your char. it will stay there for 18 days. You could have like 200 peices unopened and then open and sell once they update the prices.

Is this still alive? Just wondering, I saw a fix was there, but is there another vendor available that they goofed, and didn't fix?
