* The available house types for a 10G house on our Island in Kojan are, 1 story thatch, 1 story shingle, 2 story thatch, 2 story shingle, 2+ story shingle red, 2+ story shingle brown.
* Once you hit your 'begin construction' button you can select a house type, and see the needed materials.
* You *can* then select 'abandon construction' and view a differing house, and needed items, without it costing anything or risking your plot. (Phew...)
* Each building site looks different and reflects the house being built.
* It appears that you can store the items piecemeal untill you are ready, and hit the 'complete construction' button.
* The maintenance for the house, and for the plot are two differing things. Maintenance was the same for all house types, thus we assume (currently) that it is based on the plot value.
* It appears that a single story house uses T3 mats, two story T4, and two+ story is T5.
