VG Bots - Working Necro Hunting BOT : VGExtreme Programs

Here is a edit from the simple Necro Hunting bot thats already posted. I edited it to use while hunting lvl 26 2 dot Turtles. If you layout your hotbar (1-5) like I show here. It should work pretty well. Just tweak for what your hunting. It's a better start than the simple hunting bot.

Hotbar:
1.Auto Attack
2.Plague of Infestation
3.Bone Spike
4.Torment
5.Blood Rite
6:Awaken Abomination

Loop order:
Find Target (mob within 60 distance units)
Summon pet>attack (place summon pet command in hotbar slot #6)
Move to Target
Heal Pet
Plague of Infestation
Torment
Heal Pet
Nuke,Nuke,Nuke,Nuke,Nuke until dead
Loot
Heal Pet before looping.....

Let me know if this works for you. I don't know much about script, but got this to work for myself.

Does anyone know the code to log your character out upon death???

To make it easy the below should work to quit your char if you die. Just add it to the main loop or as a function that being runned out of that.

Have you installed Exhume and VGExtreme? If not, thats probably what you are missing my friend. There are tons of threads about how to install them.

I get this error:

Error: Line: 310, Line: 4 Object required: 'Findmypet'

Try erasing that whole section w/ "findmypet." Thats what I did.

When you say erase that whole section do you mean

'Try to find our pet
set myPet = FindMyPet 'Will summon if not found

that?

and when you say replace it w/ "findmypet"

I would just type "findmypet" after set myPet = or where?

I have no knowledge of VB, so I'm sorry for the dumb questions. Also I think my navigation.vbs isn't configured correctly because my toon doesn't run around on any of these scripts.

I haven't changed anything in VG, it's basically default keys and I use ASDWX to run around. What should I change the consts to in my navigation.vbs for it to work?

All that happens right now is he summons a pet and stands there. I'm getting the same error as the guy above saying Error Line 310 char: 4 object requird: 'findmypet'.

I have exhume.exe running with the project open to this edgenecro.vbs.. but I'm alittle confused - am I supposed to also have vgextreme.exe running at the same time with the same script?

line, then it says, "moving to next waypoint" which he doesn't move at all and says no targets found - even tho there's those same turtles you have in your consts typed in.

So now it's not moving or finding targets even tho they're right next to me

on a line just after find my pet.

Then it will break at that point and you can hit F10 and F11 to trace through the program and see what is going on.


Also you have to set your keys to the wasd movement setup.

My keys are setup in the game for wasd, do I have to also set them up in the vb script or is that already done?

Basically need to know what all am I supposed to change in the navigation.vbs and edgenecro.vbs if I have just downloaded and installed everything. Or are they supposed to work "out of the box"?

Do I have to enter waypoints in one of these 2 script files before he'll start moving around?

Try this. I may have changed a few minor things. This should work out of the box. You just need to change what your hunting. This was programmed for 26-2 dotters. I don't know much about code. Just look at it and use logic. Seems to work. I just can't answer many technical questions.

Yup. If you remove the ' before MoveTo your toon will then move BUT not search or hunt correctly nor does he actually move between waypoints -- more of a run in a straight line, stop, then run some more, stop, more, stop, etc....

Code is definantly not quite working yet...

Not sure why, but it works fine for me. Tweaking it is all I can say.
