No, I hear you can get to lvl 26 in a couple hours, after that it slows some. I saw two low 20's go to 50 in just over a week. So it's out there. I tried some ideas. Caravan, group dueling, other stuff to like, once where like every fith hit, this toon, lvl in his teens, got xp. But since, I havent been able to do it again.

The trick to this exploit is fairly simple. A few guildies of mine were able to duplicate this on Tharridon server. What you do is have a 50 or any high lvl chars join a group with chars way below the 7 lvl no xp gain restriction. The 50s in the group start killing something lets say a lvl 45 4 dot mob, they establish ownership get it to more then half way dead, drop group when the mob is at 25% (the lower lvls stay in the group only the 50s or higher lvls who are actually doing the killing stay in group) then the 50s kill the mob and the lower levels who are in the group recieve xp. It is not as massive amounts as the Xenn dungeon however with an efficient group you can make 30 lvls in about 10 hours. After the mob is dead and the lower lvls have gotten the xp then you just simply have them reinvite you and do it all over again. To make this go faster the 50s would make a leave group maco and the lower lvls would make a invite to group (persons name) macro for each higher lvl.

Can someone confirm?

can't confirm but it's pretty common sense, in eq2 they locked in so you couldn't touch the other persons mob to prevent powerleveling

vanguard just simply doesn't have it, and its not surprising that people aren't doing this. Idealy all the lowbie would have to do is shoot with an arrow and the level 50's or whatever will kill them, much quicker then reinviting. Its like the oldest mmo trick in the book lol

It's not nerfed the explanation was a little confusing...

Form a group...say you have 1- 50 in the group and 5 level 20s
50 starts killing a 25 4 dot or something similar. Group gets ownership.
When the mob is almost dead the 50 drops group. However the 50 can continue attacking it...The group gets the exp because it had ownership.

i tried this with 2 accounts and some friends help. but my friends were in a different zone but in group. i had my lvl 8 character next to my lvl 50. and i started attacking a lvl 47 2dot. when it goto 20% i droped the 50 from group that left a lvl 8 in zone and 2 lvl 45's outta zone. the lvl 50 got the xp.

what did i do wrong?

I also attempted this with two charracters today and could not get it to work. Once the level 50 dropped group and then proceeded to kill the mob, he owned it not the lower level.

This isn't the way. The guy wasn't doing it that way for sure.

Was using this last night, pretty sure you have to have atleast 3 people in the group so if the 50 drops, the group still stays together to get the xp.

I tried it this weekend with my lvl 18 druid and a 50 druid friend in group. I pulled the mobs lvl 25 and we dmg'd the mob down to around 25% and the 50 druid dropped group and continued hitting the mob. I did get experience. However, it was based on the amt of dmg I originally done. So the experience is minimal at best.
