Try to get the ingame crafting macroes working without the craft.exe first. If you cant get that working then you wont get the other to work.
After that, you need to run craft.exe and run its setup. It has a handy popup box to ask you how many resources and which function keys you are using. Then you can play with the timers and various other settings. All that is done via the interface built into craft.exe

Just a little update I forgot to mention. It will look like the macro is not working when you get a dialog box saying "You are already crafting", but the macro will click that and you will still get the xp. Just watch the experience bar if you have it up.

It's really pretty easy to figure out if you just watch it. Don't expect to just open it and have it work immediately. Like Anach said, it takes a bit of tweaking.
What I do when I first open it is watch where the mouse on my screen moves. I then position the crafting box so that the arrow will click on the correct things.
It's really not that hard.

Also remember this macro comes with a config screen, so you can choose how many resources, where to click, how long the pauses are etc. Its really quite good.
