I got tired of space after a while. So I decided to find out of there was another way for me to get gcw on my lvl 1 Imperial crafter. Well, heres what I did..
Since your target must be withing 10 lvl's to get gcw, and you can only get gcw off 10 kills from one person per day.. I decided to create a bunch of trial accounts. I created 10 trial accounts in all. That gave me 20 toons to kill per day. The amount of gcw you get depends on your rank. My crafter is rank 6. I'm getting 60 gcw per kill. With a xp buff thats 66 gcw per kill. Per day I'm getting 13200 gcw points.
Unfortunately new trial account must go thru the tutorial once. The first character has to go thru the tutorial. The second does not. On the first day it took me several hours to get all those accounts thru the tutorial, but after that it was easy. I then took each toon to a pilot trainer and made them rebel pilots, which turned them rebel. Then from there I placed a pa hall close to where I got their pilot career's.
The major problem with this is that it almost requires 2 machines unless you have a friend to rez the ones you are killing. I quickly ground up another toon I have to a lvl 10 medic so I could get the basic rez and do this all myself.
One last thing. Its best to use a combat droid to do damage. Lvl 1's dont do alot of damage. And, make sure you get a couple hits in before the droid incaps the target. You wont get gcw if the droid does all the work.
The trial accounts are good for 14 days..

This sounds like the GCW exploit mentioned by the devs. Basically, it is just like the old FRS exploit that got that removed from the game...same thing they are threatening to do with the GCW system.

I tried this a minute ago. I created a trial account. The first character had to go thru the tutorial. My suggestion would be to create a crafter because you can do the tutorial in about 10 minutes or less. Got it to the planet, turned it rebel (because my main is imp), and killed it 10 times for gcw. It worked. All within 15 minutes. The second character on the trial account did not have to go thru the tutorial.
yay

I tried this with one of my alts, I only got GCW points for the first kill. Do they have to get rid of clone sickness first?
NVM I forgot to return him to combatant status.

Did you have to download the entire SWG files again to get the trial accounts or did you use your existing SGW folder?

belhor (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): Did you have to download the entire SWG files again to get the trial accounts or did you use your existing SGW folder?
I ended up installing the trial in another directory. I called it starwarsgalaxies2. While it was downloading I created several new trial accounts. After I got what I needed, I then stopped the download and uninstalled the trial.
You can play the trial accounts on your regular swg installation.

there is a EASY way to skip the tutorial, i was going to make a new thread about this since it seems to be a secret but here goes..
Once on tansarii, you gotta do like 1-2 quests whatever, easy enough. Once done, talk to the pilot trainer guy and launch into space,
once in space, use a hyperspace manual command and you can hyperspace into any system you want (obviously hitting the H key will say its disabled but its really not if you use a command)
examples are:
/hyperspace space_endor_1
/hyperspace space_naboo_0
