Any confirmed cases of someone getting banned for using XUn?
I registered the prog for a couple of work things (heh, and I can expense it now!) and got to thinking about crafting in SWG. Quite obviously there are people doing this, according to posts here, but I'm curious about repercussions from SOE.

Just use common sense, and you will be fine. Talk about it in game, or macro unattended (ie getting caughy by a CSR watching you macroing) etc might get you caught.

Hi guys i got a technical question
How from a Dev point of view is it possible to detect someone is using this program?
Does this program send illegal packet?
If there are 6 people bann from DOac how they kwew they were using this?
In SWG i got 18 profession mastery and did not use this program yet ans waan know the risk of geeting ban before using it
Tx guys[:-angel]

No.

Mythic has several ways to detect people using it. All of them they do by watching the car while in game and analyze their chat logs.
So, dont talk about it in game, and try not to do things that you would not normally be able to do/see.

Ok thanks,
So all they are able to see is chat log stuff
So if you craft always with 8 sec time (Craft ended is in chat log) during 6-7 hours without any other action you can be flaged.
Is there a way to put ramdomness in macro to avoid let called ''cheater'' pattern in your chat log

The macros do have a random delay feature now.

Would a CSR have to be in close proximity to your character when you were doing this? Or is the chat log stored and can be pulled anytime SOE feels like it? Anyway to stop the log or delete the log on my side?
I always craft in a house and not in public view. Is this the safest way to craft with XUn?
What does the random delay actually do? Just spoof the timer in the chat log?
Thanks [:-angel]

The random delay is for macros, not a chat log.
It just puts a random time delay in your playing macro so that it does not loop like exactly every 3.056 seconds, or whatever.

So....as long as I use the random delay, in a private residence out on the plains and never talk about it in game my chances of getting caught and banned are essentially zero, correct?[^]

About the timer... if you craft for 12 hours with exactly the same delays you won't get banned...
The only thing you can't do with the in-game macros is clicking the resources.... So basically you could sit in front of ur comp for 12 hours click resources and making the macro do the rest.
And THAT is legal.

Never heard of anyone getting banned.
Rule number 1:Never talk about Xunleashed except here in the forums.
Rule number 2:Always craft in your house marked private if possible.
Rule number 3:Never talk about Xunleashed except here in the forums.
Got it? You're ok now.
