2005 was another light year for great single-player RPGs. That being said, the category did have a few standouts, including the expanded PC version of Peter Molyneux's Fable, the action/RPG X-Men Legends II, and the out-of-nowhere Fate. RPG fans were hardly ill-served, however, they just had to look for their otherworldy fix online. A number of high profile MMOs got great expansions including City of Villains and EverQuest II: Desert of Flames. A few new contenders hit the scene as well, including The Matrix Online and the innovative Guild Wars. What's your PC RPG/MMORPG of the year?
