How do all these people come up with these exploits? : Star Wars Galaxies Discussions

does anyone know any tips on how to exploit things or find out hacks or cheats?

quite a few do know how to do this but its a risk being reported and having your account frozen mostly its either a speed hack or auto it

Although this was a bug, from someone dragging objects from a backpack instead of their inventory, obviously they have some form of logging system in for specific types of things. So its always a risk.

I think its like anything. Practice makes perfect. You start out watching others, then you find the info on the stuff you can, as time goes on you know what to look out for and get to know the workings of many of the game mechanics. Some people love to do this and that is the game for them.

Much like how many games for me are about mods and altering content. There are some games where I wont even finish the first area before i start modifying it into the game I want.

I am a computer science major with a minor in game theory and programming. I kinda take what I learn and reverse it or try to think of what the devs might have forgot.

Oh, and nobody gets banned from SWG. They need every $15 sub they can get.

When ever i run into one its just a mastake really. I have no life so i just walk around shooting lvl 1s and !@#$%^&* lol. Just pay attention a bit more when you play you will find one. Hell i found one today on how to make a cuba die and insta respawn. To much work for 1 xp lol

lmao true, at max they might suspend you for a few days , but almost never ban you...unless you like ate their babies or something...even then they will consider not banning you.

Another thing to note is that if you play a lot of MMOs, you'll notice a lot of the same exploits time and time again. For example, I found one by accident on Vanguard that used to be here in SWG way back in the old days.

Another thing to note is that with each update, things in the code change. Sometimes this will re-open an older exploit. So overtime, you'll begin noticing things like that.

But the best adivce if you really want to get into it is to just try things out. Think of something that just might work, then try it. If you fail, no biggie! Try something else that just might work.

I've had 12 accounts banned from SWG, u don't wanna know how pi ss ed off i am about that, most were from ppl who socially engineered FALSE rumors about my characters to the customer service reps.

With so many accounts banned it makes me buy even more accounts, and even cheating i have strongly gotten into.

Spending 450 a month is STUPID money on a STUPID game that doesnt exist.
