John Smedley, one of the original creators of EverQuest and the president of Sony Online Entertainment since 2000, has watched the rapid changes in the space his company once owned, and he believes it's time for a change.
In his keynote speech at the ION online game conference in Seattle recently, Smedley spoke of the need to reinvent the MMO — and he says the two new games his company is developing, The Agency and Free Realms, will do just that.
