Manual sampling exploit : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

To use this exploit it is good to have expertise in manual sampling. However, I feel this exploit would of most use to someone with either few lots available for harvesters or a new trader with few credits for grind resources, harvesters, etc. I found this by mere chance while making an afk manual sample maco which I will also include. To use the macro you must first find a decent concentration of a resource by using the appropriate survey tool. In my case I found a resource concentration of 89%, the resource had an OQ of 995 So the macro I used once I found the resource location is:

/survey;
/pause 8;
/sample;
/pause 400;
/stand;
/pause 1;
/macro (enter macro name here)

note: if you don't have the expertise in manual sampling you will need to increase the pause in the macro to get more pop up windows and you may need to let it run at least 10-12 hours to get enough pop up windows. Also, I ran a /mood none; /pause 300; /macro afk
Afk macro just in case.

I did this as a work around for the pop up windows that occur while sampling. These windows will stop your sampling entirely. The windows are posted below:





So, after a few hours of afk sampling resources I decided to close out all the windows that had popped up. I picked recover resource on the one pop up and ignore survey device on the other window type. I did this a few times and I noticed I was sampling faster, cool! Heres how fast I got it going 1 time:



I have actually got it faster than that though. If you do this make sure to dump your macro before you start closing the pop up windows. If you stand you will reset the sample speed. Also, sometimes you will fail to find the resource which will cause you to start the process over as well. I found that using the afk macro for several hours gives a decent amout of windows to speed your sampling up. However, close the windows 1 at a time. One time I got it going so fast it drained all my action and my character stood up. Also, once you start this exploit you must try to close the new pop up windows fast or your sample speed will decrease. At a decent speed I once checked I sampled 25k of a resource in an hour. The concentration was very high this helps alot. Any questions about this I'll be glad to answer if possible. Try it out its a nice trick to get some resources especially when resources have gotten so expensive lately.
