it didnt work for me

i leveled an ent on chilastra i just created. using two hour method. then did a transfer with no items to corbantis. ran from bestine to me and tried to respec to spy and was level 5. i deleted a good character to try this. what did i do wrong. or is it just a waste of 30 dollars. i dont have this kind of money to throw around experiemrnting. i expected this to work.

Did you use expertese points?

I tried it again a couple of days ago, and the first time round I got kicked back to a level 5 commando, so I tried again, and low and behold, it worked. That is now 2 lvl90 toons I have that have been respeccced from ent to combat.

It does work, its not 100% guaranteed though. Think of it as a wager, sometimes you win sometimes you lose. The big thing seems to be something to do with expertise points, make sure you see the profession counsillor and reset your exp points before you initiate the server transfer.

any word since 6.11 patch?

Actualy its better to never use points at all. And im shure this still works. Or it would of been in the publish notes

Ya, i think if or when this gets fixed the Character transfer service will be down. So if anyone notices that or anything please post it. Cuz im shure this will work untill that happens.

Since this exploit still makes them money, I doubt its as high on the priority list.

Yup, Its prob taking biussiness away from the powerlvling service the credit farmers run. 30 bucks is alot cheaper then 120 lol

OK before I do this let me get it right. Level a ent on server 1. Make sure you have no expertise points when you respec to server 2? WHen you get to server 2 just go to the respec npc and respec to combat character and bam you level 90?

Ya run to the Respec npc or catch a ride. Dont fly in or catch a shuttle. That seems to screw it up here and there.

Ive just tried to transfer a character, but when I log into the destination server...I immediatly get a respec window pop up. What do I do at this point? Select entertainer then still run to a respec npc?

That is some odd bugg that happens. I dont think i can help you with that.

Actually, I think its because the character transfer hasnt taken place yet. I had to select a new name for the character I am moving and that character has been created, but its a cl1 and the ent character is still on the old server. Its been 6 hours so far, I thought the process would be alot quicker.
