Already seen a system message about this and it looks like if you don't delete those weapons you will be banned, FYI.

vinnyboy32 (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): Delete the weapons then people, I've seen this happen back with the full Expertese exploit, And people were suspended, For once it wasn't all hot air. So best delete them.
Or put them on a trial account

Guy on my server got banned for using the Crossbow in pvp...of course...so nerf coming soon, if not already....

well that worked out well.... was sick for 4 days get on and c this go make some uber weapons then have to delete em all =( i hate people that pvp or try to make money off exploits like this thank you for sharing with us though

I havent tested if this still works today, but if so. I would suggest doing it on a trial account. Takes a little more work, but it's worth the safety of your own account. I am sure they are probably watching storyteller purchases now.

maybe worth a test:
- log in a trial account
- place storyteller props with a subscribed account (of course not a bannable action  )
- invite your trial toon to assist in the story
- use the trial to get the weapon out of the NPC
So the trial toon doesn't need to place the storyteller item.
didn't try it, because i'm not at home atm.

just a warning, I got contacted like 2 minutes after extracting a weapon, and was suspended on spot 7 days
