SWG Cheats - Newest Way to Solo Sher Kar : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info - Page 3

Just did this with my Jedi and worked great. Takes a long time, but you get out with at least 5 mins. I used a SFOR carbine and just put on auto attack. Good Luck

Nerfed? I was successful in the past, but tried it yesterday and Sher Kar jumped all over me. Will try again today.

i got her stuck but couldn't dps her fast enough... tried getting close enough to saber her but then she'd attack me... will try again shortly.

Can you post a wp where you stood to get her stuck? I get clobbered if I stand in the old spot.

I think i used the waypoint given on the first page. In that spot I couldn't get hit or do damage. I step forward I could do damage but not get hit. Never successfully did it. 6 attempts. I got her stuck 2 times. The other times she aggroed. The 2 times she got stuck, I kept getting impatient, and would try and find a spot where I could hit her with my saber... lol, then I died.

I solo'ed her yesterday with my bounty hunter. You have to stay at least 36m from her to keep from taking insane damage. You will take a small amount of damage, but nothing to break a sweat over.

The waypoint given (-169 -106) is correct, and as long as you have a rifle, you should be able to aggro just her. It is vital here that you fire ONE shot to aggro her, and be sure it is not and AOE attack. Once you have her stuck against the ledge, you will have no problems with stepping back until you are 36m (you'll likely be backstepping up a short hill). Once you are there, make sure you only use non-AOE attacks or you could aggro the smaller scorpions.

As to the player that mentioned he completed this with five minutes to spare, it's not a coincidence you did that. As soon as Sher Kar is dead, a 5 minute counter starts that will remove you from the instance. It is like this so that you have time to loot Sher Kar and split the loot between your group if you have one with you.

I'll solo her again in the morning and get a waypoint where I stand to shoot and aggro, and another for where I stand to stay out of harm's way while I'm throwing all my dps at her.

Ok, I'm actively solo'ing Sher Kar right now as I'm typing this. Everything is still true with my last post on this thread, and I have the waypoints you'll need to stand at to both aggro and solo, without taking unmanageable damage or aggro'ing the karlings.

To start, follow the right edge of the map, being careful to keep as far from the karlings as possible, then when you get to waypoint -150 -109, you will be 64m from Sher Kar. Fire one and only one non-AOE shot at her, and it will aggro her.

Move back to waypoint -172 -76, and you will be about 38m from her, depending on where she stands when she bugs against the map wall.

After this, it's just your non-AOE specials and the occasional heal and the only sweat you'll break is from how hot it is standing that close to the lava.

Yeah I figured this still worked, my only problem is getting a good enough rifle... I still consider respec'ing from Jedi to BH or Commando daily...just hate having to learn another class...

Stealth fix in Chapter 8? Was doing this fine with no mishaps prior to Chapter 8. Post Chapter 8, she warps across the ledge after being stuck for 3 seconds every time.

After 32 unsuccessful attempts while +Force Cloaking+ every time she warped over the edge and started wailing on me, I'm going to have to say NERFED in chapter 8.

Can another member confirm this to be nerfed.
