Select Use on Tool
Select Armor Piece
Select OK
Choose Desired Colors
Click the X in the upper right of the window to close window.
Poof Your armor is colored and no uses are taken off the tool.

It reverts to its original colors upon shuttling.

the colors don't stay you press the cross and only the toon that did this "exploit" can see the new colors everyone else would only see the old colors.

Well it's a good way to see what your entire suit of armor is going to look like before comitting. Any points for that?

I would give this a yes. Save yourself the recoulor kits, see how it looks before you commit.

Note: As already pointed out, the colours resort back when you log out or zone. One other thing to note, other players do not see the new colours, it only changes the color on the client.

Not a NAY at all I confirm it only after I've selected the colour I hit tab twice. The first closes the armor colour window, the second opens it again. Click cancel and the colour remains on your toon.
