So does it matter what order I put points in during each set? Or is it all about speed and trying to get them all before you lose connection?

CAT-5= Lan cable.
Need to have LAN cable to get this to work because you'll have to dis/reconnect quick enough that the server won't see it as a disconnect...but rather a timeout.
So...no a wireless won't work.

I've gotten it to work, but I'm a little weary. It seems high risk - all it takes is one of the devs to run a little query. Especially since the values for trained and available points are all jacked up. Do you guys think it's safe? Did anyone who did the server transfer exploit get banned?

I did a server transfer "exploit" and im commando/BH. I didnt even know about the exploit when I did it so I was suprised to find I had 2 professions. A week later a guy that was assigned to watch my character for a while to make sure the transfer went through correctly told me he saw that I had 2 professions and he Congratulated me! lol he said I wont get in trouble that I just need to be careful with how I use my skills because if another character sends in a ticket on me a CSR might take it away.

well, i think i may redo my respec and not get fill expertise, but maybe just a few more branches than I had before. that may be easier to justify an excuse for.

It depends who sees you using what abilities. If you are seen using every ability in the expertise tree at the same time, then you will possibly get reported.
Something that always applied when I played CS years ago was. The best cheaters are the ones who dont look like they are cheating. In comparison to those who would be completely obvious.
If you dont have a network cable to pull. Then use a firewall to switch from allow to block. Or try the disable and enable on your network.

Or pull the cable directly at the router or modem for the one using wireless. Speed in this stage is critical, so move the laptop over to where the wireless router or modem is. Both connect using a CAT5, so just pull the cable from there.

The probability of keeping a secret is the square of the number of people who know about it.
Cat is probably out of the bag by now lol!

Heck if they didn't ban the very obvious droid exploiters on my server, they won't ban anyone!

They only ban once they get a number of reports and catch you.
Im still seeing the droids, melee arms, robes, 2x templates and other exploits used daily.
Since NGE its almost become common practice. Its their own fault though. (boredom)

Big freakin yay on this one. Got my toons nicely decked out!
A tip for those who haven't done it yet - planning ahead of time is a good idea. Smuggler was a tough one to do for me.
