Yep - just this morning, TH added a few extra items to the patch notes, including "GCW points will no longer be awarded if the structure is destroyed by the owner." Oh well, I almost got general. :(

nerfed in todays publish:

Galactic Civil War

Players will no longer be able to destroy a faction base while enemy players are in the facility.
Player bases will no longer grant GCW points if they are destroyed by the owner.
