SWG Exploit: GCW Point Exploit : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

This requires the assistance of someone of the opposing faction that's at least Lieutenant rank.

Get your friend in the opposing faction to drop a base. Get all your guildies AT the base, but DO NOT go inside. Have the friend then pull up the base - BAM, you get the GCW points as if you'd actually destroyed the base. You can do this repeatedly - I've gotten over 50K in a day easily.

EDIT: You have to use up a base each time - it costs 1.8 mil for each SF base, so this isn't cheap. (Wasn't sure if that would be clear)

So why not just destroy bases in the wild? They are easy to find with the /find rebel or /find imperial commands and they dont cost you any money?

Simply asking, as Im not clear on the benefit is all.

I guess the benefit would be that you do not need all of the "required professions" in order to destroy the base. Besides that it would save a ton of time involved in hacking the terminals and even looking for bases.

I saw a post regarding this in the GCW forums at SOE, so i guess it works.

The benefit is that you can have your reb friend/alt loaded with bases, then just start dropping/picking them up - it takes a few seconds per base, don't need the multiple professions, can stay in one place, etc.

Taking the bases out in the wild requires the commando/smuggler/medic/BH/officer profs, you gotta hunt for them, find them when they're vulnerable, etc.

Were you SF? If you're standing right next to the base when the base owner pulls it up, and SF, you get the points. I just did this again last night for an hour.

I've only done this with SF bases - no idea if this works with the non-SF type.

PLace the base with your alt of opposite faction , destroy it with the same alt by using HQ terminal option.
All member who need pts must be SF and in a radius of 20M approx, then they will get pts .

Yes, "redeed" the base with your alt from the HQ term. It will say you can't redeed the base, then ask you to confirm it's deletion.

this works like a charm. Get about 20 people together get 20 bases, charge each person 2 mil. and everyone gets about 52k gcw points in no time
