SWG Exploits - Exar Kun - 3rd phase : Star Wars Galaxies Nerfed Info

On the third room for Exar Kun there is a well known bug that a spy or any one cloaked by a smuggler can go into the room, have some one outside shoot the caretaker, and the cloaked individual can solo the caretaker.

How ever this often takes 10 - 20minutes and is a long boring wait.

Here is a simple way to get him down in under 2 minutes

1. Have the spy, or cloaked individual stand inside the instance as par usual.

2. have one person stand back (away from the door in the other room)

3. Have the rest of the group stand where the door would normaly fall (or close to it)

4. Have the ranged individual shoot the caretaker, The door will drop (and the group will be under the door)

5. all but the ranged (aggroed) individual should now be able to walk in and all attack the bugged care taker.

been using this for a while now its gonna get nerfed but it does work so

I have 2 more exploits (kind of) should I wait till I get another yay (or nays ) or post them in a different thread?

I think this was nerfed with today's patch [5.7] Tried it tonight, and just couldn't seem to make heads or tails of it. Door would close, we'd get a few shots off and he'd reset.

i agree this appears to be nerfed

Yea my friend said a similar thing i will try it today but apparently it has also caused (the fix) to spawn multiple caretakers

this no longer works due to update SOE did that canceled it out

if this no longer works why is it still in confirmed exploits (with the last post nearly a year ago)?

As a new member to this site, I'm finding the exploits section not quite up-to-date. I just purchased the month to check things out.

I am new though, so is there a particular process for "confirming nerfs?"

you accused the op of this despite being very old post, yet you have clearly done it yourself, the other site clearly has a post date of 23 Jan 2009, yet your copy and pasted post was done yesterday.
