FFXI Crash after Play Botton Hit (with logs)! : General & Trouble Shooting - Page 2

so how do i go about a refund for this? Been clsoe to a month and still havent had problem resolved so i would like a refund.

The solution has been posted on the board so many times you must be blind to have missed it.

1) Try disabling gamepad support in the pol config utility.
2) If that doesn't help disable gamepad support in the ffxi config utility too.
3) If that doesn't work either set game resolution lower. To 1024x768, 800x600 or 640x480.

That is it, josh mentioned trying archbells as the launch path that didnt work. I am not going through a ton of posts to try and find a solution to my problem when I have posted in a specific thread all I want is a "Hey we are woking on it" or "Can you post some more logs so i can help you".
It took me asking for a refund to get any help so dont talk to me like im stupid. Those things don't work I want help or a refund period.

Same problem for me if I turn off "Ignore DirectInput".

Also, as of the patch today my gamepad refuses to work.

Edit: Gamepad works in the POL browser btw. Gamepad is a USB to PS2 adapter commonly found at radio shack.

mine doesnt work to
same as your i put play just a black screen

Well finally got it to work after reinstalling everything. However again not working and could never get macros to work before. Everytime i try to run it it simply reboots my computer. I am fed up with it and want a refund can someone please point me in the direction to ask for one.

Cant you just use ControlMK ( google it) for your gamepad. seems a lot simpler, ControlMK wont contradict XU.
