How do I install scripts? : General & Trouble Shooting

I've searched the forums. the only thing I can find is "un-RAR it to the scripts folder and run XU."

Well, first, the EQ2 Harvestbot is zipped, not RARd. No biggie. I'v put those files everywhere in the root, scripts and it's own folder inside of scripts, and no help.

I tried the Make-path bot (which IS RARd) and extracted it directly to scripts folder.

When I run up XU, I'm getting nothing inside it. it updates itsself fine, but I get no scripts inside it.

Getting really frustrated here. Can someone tell me what I may be doing wrong and point me in the right direction?

OK, I realize now that I needed WyvernX's Service. Got it and installed it.

Now, from within EQ2, when I open the scripts window, I can't do anything with it. no buttons work (to include the "X" to close the window)

I can't choose a script, put a check in teh box to use compatibility mode, nothing. it's almost as if I'm clicking through it into the game, because I can click and drag and the view from within the game moves.

Can I get some help here?
