Found this on multiple public forums...which is kind of sad considering it wasn't ever even mentioned on this exploit site.
Step 1: log into vanguard
Step 2: log into a PvP server
Step 3: find an zone that has no alter with a zone that has an alter next to it
i.e. Seawatch Coast and Seawatch Cove
Step 4: Die in PvP in the Zone that has no Alter.
i.e. Seawatch Cove
Step 5: Release to Alter (Seawatch Coast)
Step 6: Go back to the Zone without the alter (Seawatch Cove)
Step 7: Die in PvE
Step 8: Release to Alter (Seawatch Coast)
Step 9: Go back to the zone without the alter (Seawatch Cove)
Step 10: Find your corpse
Step 11: Loot your corpse
Step 12: Gain the exp on your corpse
Step 13: go to Step 6
It's kind of common knowledge right now. It works, I've done it for a free level. GMs and players know about it, so if you do it all I wouldn't reccomend doing it in the cove area as you'd probably get reported.
Got something like 9 to 11% per corpse, really fast. Could probably get a level per hour. I wouldn't reccomend leveling off a tomb though, that's a clear indicator of exploiting in the logs.
If this had been posted earlier, here, privately, as it should have...well...I'd probably be 20 levels higher heh.

Looks like it got fixed. What i did was I speed hacked out to the water, Qalian Sea, whic has no alter. had a char kill me out there. Swam back out, drowned, ran back, looted the pve death, less xp than when i started. Looted the PVP death, no xp.
I then did the same but when i came back i looted the pvp death, no xp. looted pve, normal xp.
Either drowning doesn't work as a pve death, or they nerfed it.

They might have fixed it in this last patch, I'm not sure I want to risk testing this again myself in that said location. But...seawatch cove/coast are located SW of Qualia, along the coast. Probably a good 30 min run from Khal. When it worked, you basically kept dying and looting the pve corpse, and you perma left the pvp corpse w/ all your items on it untouched. Was really nice because the coast spawn run to cove was like...40 secs.

I cannot confirm this method to work, but i know of another way of doing it which is much faster and easier.
