Four years ago today
Blizzard unleashed
World of Warcrafton the public. At the time, we don't think even Blizzard themselves knew that just four years later they'd have 11 million people playing their game, worldwide. Now they have the largest Western MMO in the market, and are
planning not only another MMO, but also
more expansions for WoW. It looks like it is going to be an interesting future!
Today we figured we'd ask; when did you start playing
World of Warcraft? Were you one of the beta testers, helping to smooth things out as best as was possible? Did you join at launch along with the huge influx of people? (For that matter, do you remember the original crash-and-burn realms, or enormous queues to get in?) Or did you come in later, to check out what everyone was talking about? (Also - for those still playing, don't forget to
pick up your birthday bear today!)
