JB5884 does the yellow xunleashed still show up in the upper corner?
or does all of xu dissappear?
If the yellow xunleashed is still there, it sounds like a connection problem or similar. Make sure you have the latest version of xunleahed, and that it patches with out errors. The latest version shoule be 2.9.1 released Dec 3.

Just to put in my 2 cents.... what version of DirectX are you running? Last patch did require Dx9b or so i believe.

the yellow text in the upper left corner stays there that doesnt disapear, everything else does. I have the latest directx9.0b. I have the dec. 3 2003 patch
I did however download and install spybot search and destroy a couple weeks ago, do you know if XU has a compatability problem with it.

I dunno but i have seen instance where Spybot may destroy critical .dll's or what not. Hmmm... judging from your spec and pretty much everything else about your PC i see no reason what if anything would cause this... i mean yeah if you've got ToA and have an SI server checked it won't work... you're using the SI client to connect though and so that wouldn't be it... unless you have something else going on... i had a friend have issues with getting the map to show due to a weird kinda saved profile thing in Xunleashed. But given that you've reinstalled it that would've cleared it up. Is your force redraw checked?

From what I understand, XU stays in contact with their servers. If you unplug your connection, you will get a connection lost to xu message. Now, if you loose connection to their servers by some other means, ie, popup blocker (though I think this one was fixed), hacking the client, security setting stopping some internet commands to get executed, etc it will drop everything but the xunleashed in the upper left corner.
So, being that is the case, have you tried unloading everything that you can? Ie, ctrl-ins-delete and start killing processes that might not be needed. Get rid of any programs that are running in the background, one might be the culprit.
