Hello,
I got it to take the update -- it's at 2.0.0.8 but how do i get the script to actually start? Also which fishing bot does this currently work with or which would you suggest i use?

you can follow the sticky for XUFish it answers all questions. Then if you want as an option you can use the stuff in the first thread to do fish id fishing.

ok -- i got XUfish+kill to work FINALLY after reading just about every single topic and post i could find over and over lol.But i still cant seem to get Service to load up.I have updated to 2.0.0.8 but nothing relevant to fish id's come up in the log.Here is a copy of my log after a clean restart.

To use fish id's you have to modify y our script as in the first thread.
Also you have to look in the XUFish log not the xu log.

thats what i thought but i just thought i would post my XUlog because of that SERIOUS ERROR message but if it means nothing,cool.
Here is what my script and XUfish log look like.I thought i was looking for somesort of Hex id?

In your script, you never reassign the function DoBite.
Look at the other XUFish scripts, and you will find the missing line near the bottom just before runFisher. That assignment tells it to actually use the DoBite function. Its like OnBite = DoBite or something like that.

sounds like you are making progress. Now check the logs again to see what ID came up. Add more logging if you need to.

Just wanted to follow up my previous post. The question about the function not working was due to a some code I had written to detect if the function was working or not. I was not forcing an update to the date before checking which was causing the script to think the function was not working correctly. Forcing and update and a small wait before checking the function return did the trick.

im really new to all this! even to scrip edit 0.o; so ill appreciate every help u could give me. main reason its because i want just a script that just fish and delete rusty items and rings, pauses or exits when no bait avaiable or GM detect/tell. just that.

any help on my problem? can't use fishin bot without that targeting thingi ... cant get any fishids caus my bot always reels in the line while something caught the hook!! Any HELP?????
