Gheezer (!empty($user->lang['WROTE'])) ? $user->lang['WROTE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'WROTE'))): Update posted to GForge. Developers of compiled applications will need to recompile.
Notes to developers: I also included TestEQ2Extreme.exe which will allow you to examine the new DynamicData available. The DynamicData tab will poll and display all variables and values twice per second. Values that have changed since the last time the "Refresh" button was hit will be red, making it much easier to determine what changes each action produces.
I just opened your TestEQ2Extreme.exe .... wow. Thanks Gheezer ... great stuff!

Haven't been able to download this from gforge all weekend. Is it possible to post it someplace people can actually get to?

I think I've read all the threads covering the use and installation of EQ2Extreme but I'm coming to a dead end here. I have done the remove and reinstall countless times. If I test the EQ2Extreme.vbs in Exhume I get the "EQ" error previously mentioned. If I start EQ2Extreme, I can log in but it crashes on me. Anyone have a moment to help an idiot find his way? lol Here is the EQ2 error:
10/22/07 02:35:04 PM EXHUME->MarshallPlugins!!!
10/22/07 02:35:04 PM EXHUME->UnMarshallPlugins!!!
10/22/07 02:35:05 PM RUNTIME SCRIPT ERROR: Object required: 'EQ': ::: Line:55 nChar:4
10/22/07 02:35:05 PM SCRIPT ERROR: Object required: 'EQ': ::: Line:55 Char:4
...and the crash error..

I just wanted to say that eq2extreme is extremely useful and improve my gaming experience significantly. Unfortunately, now that I downloaded the latest version, I get the following error after I open eq2extreme and enter my login info: "Input past end of file". The previous version didn't cause this (but now it is also malfunctioning) and I am also able to run the latest version on my other pc. Can anyone help?

Theseus,
I noticed on my Vista box, that uninstalling EQ2Extreme didn't get rid of all of the files. 1) Are you installing to the default folder? 2) Did you by chance clear out the old folder before doing the current install?

Staz, yes, I have done all of that. Here is a step by step of my last try..
Use EQ2Extreme.msi "remove" option
Deleted all files in the folder
Deleted the folder
Reboot
Install EQ2Extreme.msi (default folder)
Startup EQ2
Run EQ2Extreme.exe
Login
///crash\\\
EDIT: I noticed for some odd reason, I can get the program to load fine on one character, but when I try it on another, it crashes...any ideas?

theseus824, if you are able to load EQ2Extreme with only some characters, then you could simply load that character then run EQ2Extreme with that character then load to the character select screen and go on the character that normally wouldn't work with EQ2Extreme. The error message I am getting is different from yours but I also managed to get around my problem with this method.

I have noticed that some 'knockdown' or 'knockback' effects cause an error. I think it is a "Trauma" effect, but very shortlived ... it will cause TestEQ2Extreme to crash so I can't figure out what it is trying to put where (I guess it can't either). It will cause Error (13 - type mismatch) when I try to Cint (after confirming it is .Valid). I found it easy to replicate (unintentinally ) in Feerrott with the spiders and dragonfly mobs.
I 'fixed' it the good ole' fashioned way (erm, I ignore it and just let it ON ERROR RESUME NEXT) ... but thought you might want to get to the bottom of it?
Thanks G!

I'm working with the ' GameData.Group.Group_#.Effect#'. First I check to see if it is .Valid, if so, I load the .Text variable (with the Cint conversion). For the Effects, *.Text is 'empty' if *.Valid is false and contains a number when *.Valid is true ... well, evidently there is an exception. This works fine unless you are 'knocked down' or 'knocked back' as I mentioned in prior post. I can't tell what gets in there or which variables are different on knockback, because it crashes TestEQ2Extreme as well as my script.
Here is a sample of code that I am using in eXbot ...
(!empty($user->lang['CODE'])) ? $user->lang['CODE'] : ucwords(strtolower(str_replace('_', ' ', 'CODE'))): set otmpEffect(1,1) = EQ.GetDynamicDataItem("GameData.Group.Group_0.Effect1") set otmpEffect(2,1) = EQ.GetDynamicDataItem("GameData.Group.Group_1.Effect1") set otmpEffect(3,1) = EQ.GetDynamicDataItem("GameData.Group.Group_2.Effect1") set otmpEffect(4,1) = EQ.GetDynamicDataItem("GameData.Group.Group_3.Effect1") set otmpEffect(5,1) = EQ.GetDynamicDataItem("GameData.Group.Group_4.Effect1") set otmpEffect(6,1) = EQ.GetDynamicDataItem("GameData.Group.Group_5.Effect1") for x = 1 to 6 if PlayerUpdated(x) and otmpEffect(x,1).Valid Then oEffect(x,1) = CInt(otmpEffect(x,1).Text) TraumaFlag = TraumaFlag + oEffect(x,1) Else oEffect(x,1) = 0 end if next
