For my turning problems...

Modify the EQ2MEGABot_LocationFunctions_v25.vbs file.
Find the TURN() and TURNTOANGLE() Subs.
At the top of each one is the hardcoded turn keys.

kRight=VirtualKey.VK_RIGHT
kLeft=VirtualKey.VK_LEFT

Change both Subs to your keys. If you are using A & D, it would be:
kRight=VirtualKey.VK_D
kLeft=VirtualKey.VK_A

See if that works. If it does, I'll make them a variable INI in the next release - for anyone else who runs into this in the mean time, you have a work around.

This worked PERFECT. I had a 5 hour run last night while coming and going from the room. I had it running in an area killing non-aggro mobs though or where 90% are non aggro.

Thanks again for your hard work on this. I suspect that arrow keys are a bit "wonky" in affecting buttons mapped onto the numeric keypad.

While I'm asking... Any chance that you could add max xp percent? With the automatic notifications to guild that one has dinged, it would be nice to stop at 99% xp so that I'm not afk when I ding. Set it to /camp when xp>threashold, presuming that xp% is something that wyvern has mapped in the service.

Cool - I'll make them mappable in the next version - for now, anyone who has issues turning, manually override them using the code I have in this thread.

As for XP - not currently a memory loc Wyv has, I'll ask him to find it and add the option if he does.

Hey Rich,

I think your right, I do see it saying targeting monster, but it doesnt turn (using SAMESPOT)Tried the code you posted and it stops the script. If I put the old code back the script loads fine.. I'll include my log on this post.

hey Rich, ok after running the script for a bit it seems its not wanting to attack anything even if its right in front of it. It just keeps tabbing through the mobs, even though they are 4 feet in front of me....

For now I have switched back to the old script as it worked pretty good.

hey Rich, ok after running the script for a bit it seems its not wanting to attack anything even if its right in front of it. It just keeps tabbing through the mobs, even though they are 4 feet in front of me....

For now I have switched back to the old script as it worked pretty good.

Oh - sorry, haven't fully tested SAMESPOT yet, sorry.

Ues CLOSESTCON and then set the Run radius to something low, like 1 an d it will effectly be samespot.

I think your right, I do see it saying targeting monster, but it doesnt turn (using SAMESPOT)Tried the code you posted and it stops the script. If I put the old code back the script loads fine.. I'll include my log on this post.

I've been using SAMESPOT for the last couple days and haven't had any problems with it targeting the mobs and attacking. Although, I have my 2 chars placed where the mobs spawn out of aggro range most of the time. Some roaming mobs come within aggro range.

I kinda figured out the issue I was having with version 2.4(where my guardian would seem to get stuck targeting my healer, while the healer was being attacked and eventually died) When I was testing it, the mobs were white and blue to me, and would hit my healer pretty hard, killing the healer in about 30 seconds after running out of power. Now that the mobs con green or low blue to me, neither character takes as much damage, and the guardian eventually targets the mob correctly. Sometimes it just takes up to a minute before it gets the right target.

So, needless to say they have been running great. Over the last 2 days they have run for about 15 hours and never died. Its been awesome!

One thing that would be a nice addition to the script would be a secondary set of combat attacks. Like for when power drops below X% switch to alternate attacks. I do this when I play my guardian myself. I have a set of hotkeys with my lowest level attacks so I can continue doing HO's.

One bit of odd behaviour I just figgured out the reason for...

I'd occasionally see it open my chat bar and send some letters there.. it wouldn't seem to last very long but I figgured out what was happening.

If the loot code doesn't manage to click on a corpse and therefore open the loot window, it will hit enter, which will start a chat line... which then swallows the movement keys but there are enough wanderers where im running it that eventualy it finds a mob to fight and gets itself sorted out. Using the enter thing to loot if you dont know absolutly for sure the dialog is up might not be the best solution unfortunatly.

Hmm - good point... I watched mine for a few hours and it didnt' do it much, but you are right, it did do it some...

If the damn loot window didn't move randomly at times, the whole enter things wouldn't be needed...

There is no way to me to know if the loot window is really up... though when you do loot something, you get a message, so I could check for that, and if it doesn't see the loot message, it could just do another ENTER to clear out the blank ENTER...

Gotta do some brainstorming and see if there is any other reliable way to do this.

for me it seems like it opens chat cursor up then quickly hits escape, but sometimes it doesnt hit escape and it will type as mentioned. why would it hit escape some times but not always? i wonder. but seems to me escape would do the trick, even if there is a loot window open and it escapes it, eventually it will come back and try to loot with the new corpse finder script, very nice.

I'm also having problems with the looting code. It seems to want to open chat and put $2 all the time....Sometimes it works...

The looting is most successful if I am zoomed way out and directly overhead looking down. The code moves my toon to stand directly on the lootable chest/corpse then clicks all around himself.

One other "problem" is that he's doing an extra heal in recover mode. He heals up to 100% then heals one more time when he should be stopping at my configured 90%. This is more an "efficiency" concern as the recovery takes longer to regen that wasted mana.

All in all, GREAT stuff, this is all fine tuning, it runs for hours and hours.

Whoa, EEEEK!

It just scared the crap out of me!

Killed a mob, recovered nicely to full health, walked up to chest clicked on it. BOOOOOOM! One of those traps that knock you down to 20% health from full.

Then without recovering, it moved to engage the next mob. It won that fight with some struggle but er... it was a close one.

Could we please call recover again after looting? Most times it would do nothing... unless this happened!

I've got the ini all filled out, and i load up the script and i get this in my debug log
it looks like it reads the ini file fine, goes all the way through to the end, what ini is it tring to load?

Ok Fixed this problem by trial and error, for anyone else that has this problem i'll tell you what i did. when you put your spells, you only put the qb1 once per line not for every spell.

I noticed something odd today. I had my healer in a full group but the script window that lists the group members and their health % was missing one of the group members. I noticed that this happened right when we invited a necromancer to the group, it seems to have dropped the last group member and listed the pet instead. When the necromancer dropped from the group, the window dropped the necromancer and his pets name, and relisted the other member again.

I figured it may have just written the name offscreen or something, but after that persons health dropped below 60%(my heals are set to start at 75%, and secondary heals to kick in at 60%) the healer never attempted to target them and heal.

I had the same thing happen again after we invited a different necromancer to the group, not sure if its just necros, or all pet classes.
